Disclaimer: We LOVE mexican food! When we saw El Rincon Mejicano on tripadvisor we were delighted!! We walked from our hotel using google maps but it was well worth the walk!!!!! The decor is really lovely with interesting pictures of Mexican Indians! Our waitress was so nice, helpful and very understanding of my basic spanish! She deserves an award!The food was absolutely delicious! We had guacamole to start which was clearly fresh, I thought it could have used a little salt but this may be my taste and salt was available, We had the quesidilla, my bf had chicken and I had the vegetarian. It was really lovely and the service was great! This seems like a well kept secret in Pontevedra, I would recommend it to everyone! Have a frozen marguerrita too!!

Era la primera vez que Ãbamos a un mexicano y quedamos a medias en cuanto a satisfacción. El local es pequeño, acogedor, y ambiente frio tanto por el aire acondicionado como por la puerta de entrada abierta a la calle. En cuanto a la comida, guacamole y enchiladas, bien; las quesadillas y tacos, muy secos; todo servido simultáneamente, que casi no habÃa espacio en la mesa. Aparte, echamos en falta la poca información de los platos y cómo combinar las salsas que te traen con la bebida.

Tienen cervezas tanto mexicanas (pacÃfico, modelo...) como las nuestras. Los totopos están muy buenos y son caseros. El guacamole está muy sabroso y con un toque picante. Las tostadas de tinta simplemente espectaculares. Lo que más me gustaron fueron las carnitas, que ya venÃan desmenuzadas y traÃan algún cuerito para quien le guste (les da un toque más jugoso). Lo que menos nos gustaron fueron las enchiladas que estaban un poco secas, nada que no arregle un buen chorro de salsa verde o roja según el gusto.Totalmente recomendable y llamar antes de ir porque en ciertas fechas está bastante concurrido.
