We went for a late night dinner of tapas and a atlas of wine and the food was truly excellent. The tortilla and mussels were particularly noteworthy. The wine service was excellent and the wine list one of the most complete I've seen in the area. Last but not least the tab was surprisingly low for the amount of food, and more importantly quality of food, that we enjoyed. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This bar/restaurant is close to the waters edge at pretty Aldan. There is a large choice of tapas to sample. Unsure of how big the dishes were we ordered 8 tapas between us for dinner-a bit too many unless you are super hungry. The food arrived very swiftly and all of it was tasty & enjoyable. We chose: razor clams (6), sardines, calamares, chicken skewers, fish skewers, tuna empanada (usually a small patty but this was a slice of a large one), mixed salad & chips. The meal came with plenty of bread so the chips were unnecessary & we could easily have also had one less plate. The outdoor terrace has a lively atmosphere and the waitress was very helpful & spoke in English to us. Overall a very pleasant meal & although we had ordered a bit too much the bill was only â¬50 together with a glass of very quaffable wine & 2 bottles of water.

Every dish we had was tasty and authentic. You know a place is good when the pincho leaves you wanting more. Location is great for the beach.

This little restaurant snuggled at the end of the Ria de Aldan is a delight. Maria the owner is charming and runs a bustling business, serving great local food with a flourish. The restaurant is situated on the edge of the bay and you can sit under lovely awning and relax in the setting sun.We savoured pulpo with potatoes, fresh sardines and delectable rice with inky squid (chocos). This came with a perfect bottle of Alborino. Prices are super reasonable.

"Il Popolo" has wide offer of Italian and Spanish food ranging from some stone baked pizzas to really tasty salads. The local and the staff will complement the quality of the food with a cozy atmosphere. Definitively it offers you a good price for value option if you are around.

A lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, fine food and the best wine of our holiday topped off by a great location with harbour views. Highly, highly recommended. Desperate to plan a return visit !!

It's really a pleasure to have found this restaurant a little bit away from the typical tourist circuit (it can be reached with Google Maps). It is joyful to be able to enjoy a place where the local product is respected and also dare to make their own proposals without reaching the illusion of the highest level cuisine. All that is correct and for those who think of the prices or quantities seems to have no idea of the fair value for money that you pay here that is, without a doubt, the first value of this restaurant.

We went in for the grilled razor clams but they were off that day. Not a problem, I chose a dish of excellent mackerel and potatoes. The wine was good, I was happy. Halfway through I found a large dead beetle like creature hiding amongst the potatoes. This put me off. The staff were shocked, appalled and apologetic. The lady of the house seemed very genuinely upset. She scratched the bill for both food (my wife was having a decent ham dish) and wine. We left, a spoiled lunch. A shame because it's a place of great atmosphere and decent wine.

Visited this on an early Monday afternoon, this is known not to be a lively time for late lunch or early dinner. Those who know Vigo, know that in the same area, Pedra, where El Mosquito is located is a dozen good small eating establishment serving plain seafood. The reason for going to El Mosquito is their large wine cellar, this gives your food an additional flavour. The Arroz con Bogavante (lobster with rice) was tasty but not out of the ordinary.
