visited this place yesterday evening and quite honestly I cannot understand how the italian culinary board, if there is one, can allow such a restaurant to have a licence. The place is horrendous, the cashier spent most of the time watching a telenovela on TV.. As a main I ordered spaghetti with a plain tomato and basil sauce.. How does any italian not know how to cook this most traditional dish..

Well, how to put it simply ? This is arguably the best pizza in Italia (i.e. in the entire world, letâs face it). This is not my first fantastic experience at Da Stefano, which has been recommended by my dear friend Gabriele, a travel expert who also lives nearby. The team is extraordinary, sparking with talent, creativity, passion and hospitality. Anytime, youâre in for a treat, with a fantastic selection of italian meals based on fresh, exclusive and hand picked ingredients. The desserts would make french Lenotre green with envy. And the selection of wine is simply second-to-none, spectacular, if only for the wise advice you will be given by the owner.A little off-the-road, this is an unrivalled gem in Tuscany, offering you a wealth of superb food, delightful atmosphere and service, for an incredibly low price. I wonder if this is not one of the best addresses in the whole of Italy. Which, again, certainly means in the entire worldâ¦.

We ate at this restaurant as a result of staying at the Villa and both hotel and restaurant are top notch. While the two seem don't seem to be related, there seem to be an agreement between the hotel and restaurant to allow us to have a half-board arrangement. It seemed to be something new or not done often and after a little back and forth explaining what that we were on half-board, the restaurant provided a GREAT meal and service that was top notch. The entree, the main, the dessert could not be faulted and could not be have been better. The wine, the meal, the dessert, the cognac and rum were all notably good. Given the meal, quality and service the price (albeit covered by half board arrangement) was a very good price point and would happily come back again and again. You will not go wrong no matter what you order. Great setting, Great food, Great price.

The location is gorgeous. 10 minutes drive from Pistoia downtown but in open countryside.There are outside tables and I wanna be back in summer, absolutely, cause it must be stunning. The food is very very good and the presentation is astonishing. We had the fried egg, absolutely to taste, tagliatelle, rabbit with squid which is a pretty strange combination and beef. Desserts are pretty good too.The service is professional but friendly and at the end of our dinner the chef came out to ask for our impressions and/or suggestions.Portions are adequate for a restaurant of such a level. Very good choice of wines and craft local beers.Reservation is recommended.Prices are a little over the medium range but absolutely worth.The only thing I didn't like is the floor tiling in the dehor.

Locale un po nascosto al di fuori di Agliana...l'ambiente si presenta benissimo..ben arredato, moderno, lineare e pulito, menu che propone sia carne che pesce oltre all'opzione menù degustazione; piatti presentati benissimo e di ottima qualità ..servizio attento e cortese.il costo è da ritenersi ottimo per la qualità e la bontà del cibo. The place where the restaurant is situaded is really nice because it's near a kind of castle.Moreover, if you like, you can have your lunch or dinner watching an extraordinary panorama.The dishes are literally delicoius and well presented.I have no words to describe how much tasteful the desserts are.Even wines are perfectly chosen for what you eat.If you are lucky, at the end of the meal, you can enjoy a special french fruity cognac.At the end the waiters are really nice and professional.I have to say that I was there as guest so I don't have idea about the prices.

Four of us enjoyed a 3 hour three course lunch at this beautiful establishment. Very much out of the way of the tourist trail as evidenced by us being the only English speakers and no English menus. Didn't matter as my daughter is an expert in the language. You can eat inside or outside on the deck overlooking the hills and mountains. I rarely find that 4 people each sing the praises of their main course at the one time. This happened here. Dishes ranged from Venison, very tender, to the best sea bass, full of flavour, moist and perfectly presented with sliced potatoes and mushrooms. Others included slow cooked pork which was voted excellent, and pigeon which was delectable. Appetisers included scallops and a flan of artichokes and seafood sauce. Deserts were all top notch. This place is a winner. Good food and great wine list, including our favourites from Avignonesi winery.
