We were looking to eat at Osteria numero 20, but we had no reservations and it was fully booked, so that we decided to check out La Pescaccia as we liked the looks when driving past it on our way to Osteria numero 20.The waiters were very friendly and attentive as were the kitchen staff that came out from time to time. The Gnocchi were probably the best I have ever tried, definitely home made and just perfectly balanced with the truffle sauce and shrimps. The grilled fish for two was also very good, not the best we had, but still very good and at 25⬠decently priced! For an occasional dinner a very nice choice!

Good restaurant with a typical menu, very friendly staff once we got over the fact that I wasn't french, as I speak Italian with a French accent. Very clean . Very affordable. Restaurant was full and they were doing a roaring trade in take away. Seems to say it all really.

Had a delicious pasta meal here on Sunday 24th April 2016. The service was excellent, the waiters were almost running around the whole restaurant to give great service to all it's customers. It's a very busy restaurant, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. I will definitely come back to Ci Ritorno next time I'm in Pontedera and can truly recommend this place to anyone considering eating out here.

Fabulous authentic Italian food can be enjoyed either in the lively cafe outside, or in the quieter restaurant inside. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and it was very reasonably priced. Amazing desserts.

I first had the pleasure of dining at La Polveriera in the mid 90s and have remembered it ever since. Then I was the guest of a local theatre artist, treated to the chef's favorite wines and seafood creations, including an exceptional pasta with frutti di mare. More recently, I ate here twice during a business trip to Pontedera, since the experience was so delightful my colleague and I were eager to return. The interior is comfortable and attractively decorated, with brick walls and warm colors, but in warm months nothing compares to the courtyard seating where you can enjoy an exquisite meal under a starry sky. The 2 Euro cover charge includes a glass of the fine house prosecco along with a selection of tasty breads and focaccia. Seafood dishes are the highlight here, including an amazing main dish of cod with crispy pancetta in a Grand Marnier sauce and fillet of turbot all'isolana. Don't miss the chocolate flan, a perfect ending to a delightful meal.

There can't be another first impression! And this first impression was great! Service on the highest level! Good choice of food and wine. Excellent in all ways. I was invited to try their famous tartar with 7 sauses. It was more than worth to have it. And steak Fiorentina, just delicious!!! No comments about wine! it's just superb!
