Went here for drinks in the evening, breakfast in the morning and coffee in the afternoon. Very nice place with a different, beautiful, look to it inside. Staff is great, and the people going here are very friendly. Look forward to come back!

Fabulous authentic Italian food can be enjoyed either in the lively cafe outside, or in the quieter restaurant inside. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and it was very reasonably priced. Amazing desserts.

Had a delicious pasta meal here on Sunday 24th April 2016. The service was excellent, the waiters were almost running around the whole restaurant to give great service to all it's customers. It's a very busy restaurant, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. I will definitely come back to Ci Ritorno next time I'm in Pontedera and can truly recommend this place to anyone considering eating out here.

I first had the pleasure of dining at La Polveriera in the mid 90s and have remembered it ever since. Then I was the guest of a local theatre artist, treated to the chef's favorite wines and seafood creations, including an exceptional pasta with frutti di mare. More recently, I ate here twice during a business trip to Pontedera, since the experience was so delightful my colleague and I were eager to return. The interior is comfortable and attractively decorated, with brick walls and warm colors, but in warm months nothing compares to the courtyard seating where you can enjoy an exquisite meal under a starry sky. The 2 Euro cover charge includes a glass of the fine house prosecco along with a selection of tasty breads and focaccia. Seafood dishes are the highlight here, including an amazing main dish of cod with crispy pancetta in a Grand Marnier sauce and fillet of turbot all'isolana. Don't miss the chocolate flan, a perfect ending to a delightful meal.

Italian Restaurant with big private garden.
There can't be another first impression! And this first impression was great! Service on the highest level! Good choice of food and wine. Excellent in all ways. I was invited to try their famous tartar with 7 sauses. It was more than worth to have it. And steak Fiorentina, just delicious!!! No comments about wine! it's just superb!

Only had pizza, but that was well cooked. We also stayed in a room upstairs. A fairly new building that seems well patronized.

Business Lunches Low Cost, Romantic dinner and theme nights. Take away the starter, first and second of selected meat and fish.
This is a delightful restaurant run by its owners; mother and father in the kitchen and their son working the tables. The food is just delightful - beautifully prepared and served and reasonably priced too.We were eight altogether (two Inglese and six Italiano) and shared several dishes of fish. I would say for me the cod (baccala) was outstanding and my favourite, although all were very good dishes. And then a delicious home made dessert. My wife and I have already decided to go back there next time we are in Tuscany - this is a top restaurant which the owners are modest and down to earth about - if it were in London it would get seriously good reviews!TokyoJackoDear Tokyo Jacko,Thank you and thanks againYour words, constitute our gratest satisfation.I'm glad she liked our food, I suggest the next time you find in our beloved Tuscany, try our steamed salt cod with chickpeas and extra virgin olive oil locally.Together a beautiful white wine.....called " Vermentino of Bolgheri DOC by Antinori 2012".Believe me it is always a pleasure to serve you by offering you the best in terms of food and wine.We would love to open one of our local in London ..... ehheehI hope with all my heart to see you soon.Antonio

This restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B, specifically because we asked for a fish restaurant. When we got there, it turned out they have their own parking, which is a bonus. We ordered the crudites (raw seafood platter) as a starter, which was excellent and very fresh. We then had fish dishes for our main course. Lovely and fresh, and well prepared. When the fish arrived at the tale, the restaurant owner (I think) showed us how to fillet the fish, which was very educational (use spoons, not knives!). Desert and coffee were also good. Attentive and professional service and a reasonable bill made us happy and satisfied.

Upon recommendation of our hotel, we went to this restaurant on our first night in Ponsacco, and we returned every night of our stay there - need I say more ?Excellent pizza, great spaghetti alle vongole, deicious risotto, fresh fish.... no exception, everything was perfect! Moreover, prices are democratic and service friendly even if sometimes a bit slow for Italian standards.Grazie per aver visitato il mio ristorante, a presto..
