We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in the area of Lorenzan. The food is freshly cooked, quite different from many others we have seen, since it specializes in sienese and Pisan cooking. The service is most heart warming and especially friendly, the prices are moderate. There is an outside terrace or inside rooms which are furnished nicely and comfortable.Inside is an air condition.

We came across this restaurant totally by accident driving the back roads between the coast and Volterra. The external appearance is very " rural village " and we were unsure what we would find on the inside-but it turned out to be very nice. The staff made us welcome and we had a very tasty basic, typically local meal. We were not offered a written menu, the food of the day was given verbally so it was a bit of fun figuring out what was on offer, but it was all done with good humour. The only note of caution is beware of the toilet...apart from the pictures on the wall-it is of the squat ( hole in the ground )variety...but that is a minor inconvenience.

While staying in very beautiful Chianni, we had dinner here. For all four adults, it was one of our best meals ever. The dining room is a lovely setting, and the food makes it perfect. We cannot wait to return.

We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.

The Carabaccia wants to be a new way to experience the restaurant with primary emphasis on the possibility of a relaxing experience. The Restaurant with its 40 seats creates a family atmosphere, a sort of garden in which the client, accompanied by a light
Great menu, good service and lovely setting. Shame not more choice of food and shame they weren't busier.Seafood pasta was heaving with seafood, steak cooked to perfection and cheesecake to die for. Second visit for me and didn't disappoint.Thankyou very much for your experience. The restaurant offer a quiet atmosphere. We don't like a busy restaurant but a real relax experience for our customers. You are welcome for your next holiday!ThanksChristian

I used this restaurant several times for Pasta, Fish, Seafood and Pizza. Pizza is good and grilled fish or other grilled item is a good choice. Pasta is average considering you are in Italy and you can have much better options in other places.Location is very nice. In that area this restaurant is the best option, if you do not want to travel to other city. Also good if you are in a hurry - they can make a pizza in less than 15 minutes (even 10 minutes if not crowded).

Small organic restaurant which opens on a bookings only basis and serves tasting menus where guests can sample the freshest, seasonal ingredients from the farm, vegetable patch, surrounding fields and local businesses.
Once in a while, you stumble upon a hidden treasure. We have visited Italy plenty of times, but never experienced anything that comes remotely close to the stay at Podere Il Fornacino. It was quite simply a beautiful, life-twisting experience that will remain with us for a long long time. Apart from the rolling hills in the picturesque landscape, the beautifully decorated apartments and the charming animals, the farm is a living proof of the lifestyle and values of Lora and Marco.Everything from the absolutely delicious breakfast, the superb dinner cuisine and an ice cream from heaven to the feeding of the animals and picking wonderfully sweet apricots from the trees is part of the circle of life at the farm â and we were amazed and overwhelmed to be a part of it. Lora and Marco are the most welcoming and sincere people we have ever met, and their genuine hospitality made us feel as a part of the farm, from the very first minute. As a family we enjoyed every second at Podere Il Fornacino, and our four year old daughter simply had the time of her life! Swimming in the pool, feeding the animals and playing with her toys in the shade of a parasol â whatâs not to like?We have so many family memories â not to mention Kodak moments â in this beautiful place! We miss every bit and we will surely return to this unique spot under the Tuscan sun.
We have reached this amazing restaurant by mistake, we took the wrong road and km after km we started to look for a whatever place to have a dinner. The lucky was on our side... We found this corner restaurant up to the hill and just walked in.and took the last available table. The terrace where the table are placed has an incredibly view with the typical tuscan landscape. Food is amazing and the staff so kind and always reactive to whatever needs. The happy end was the chef Who did a chat to all the guests asking if there was something to be improve.Honesty... just keep going as you are doing now. Congrats to all

Consiglio vivamente.
