Walk on from the tourist menus and join the locals to enjoy authentic, seasonal home cooking at this simple trattoria, located between the Tower and the main railway station. Excellent pastas, good house wine, delicious desserts, friendly, efficient service - we had a wonderful lunch. Complimenti!

We accidentily ran into this place in its small street. We were surprised and charmed by the cosy atmosphere and great, pure Italian food! Highly recommend this place.

This subway is situated almost beside the leaning tower. As they charge into toilets around the area it's worth going in here for a coffee or a sandwich and using their facility. You will have to queue only one toilet for all the customers. Also an outside area where are you can sit in the shade. Subway is a subway is a subway,very little difference all around the world. Tiny place but reasonably efficient even for a Subway. staff speak reasonable English and pointing is always the international language of everything

We went recently for the 2nd time in a few years. The first time we went, we had a lovely meal & experience hence our return. It's a small family restaurant & the food is very nice, especially the pasta. However we felt that the service was exceptionally slow and lacked any friendliness. We had 2 waiters, the younger one was less frosty but the other waiter was decidedly unfriendly until the last few minutes when he saw that we left a 10 euro tip. Then he was all smiles. Surely customer service is one if the most important parts of running a business.

Visited on a Tuesday evening in February. Only a few other people in the place so not a lot of atmosphere. It's a typical small osteria with a limited menu but the food was excellent. The stuffed squid was superb and the lamb chops perfectly cooked. A lovely meal and very reasonably priced.

everything was just sooo good. the food was amazing, do not miss the daily menu - on the blackboard when you enter; the service was super, fast, perfect english, good recommendations. the atmosphere was great. we went once for dinner and returned also the next days. we highly recommend it.

We visited it for lunch on a sunday. The restaurant is part of a small country hotel (agriturismo) few kilometers from Pisa and Lucca. Our choice was for meat. We had tagliata, perfectly cooked and prepared, and chianina tartar prepared in three different styles.Pasta was also very well prepared. The "pappa al pomodoro tortelli" ( a closed pasta with a tomato inside) were not only original but also very delicate yet tasty. Service was fast and waiters were adequate. Price was about 40 to 45 euros per person. We will return and we will suggest it to friends

My partner & I read the reviews on TripAdvisor & werenât disappointed! The pizzas were well worth the wait! Delicious flavoursome pizza! I had the tomato, basil & oregano & my partner had the egg & bacon based pizza! Ingredients were so fresh!!! The wait was quite a while - maybe 45 minutes but if youâre not in a rush, would definitely recommend! We ate at this establishment while on a European motoring holiday. We were told by the locals that this was THE place to eat true authentic pizza - how right they were. Service was brilliant throughout. No artificial/ frozen/ ready made/ pre-prepared produce at this place. Everything is fresh.Our pizzas were cooked to perfection - the size of them being in a word - HUGE. The taste ?Everything on the base was cooked to perfection, each ingredient came through, enabling you to enjoy the wonderful flavours. The dough base was absolutely perfect.Highly recommend this place - definately one for the world gastro map.

Speciality of the Day Tuna, offered ouside the set menu, grilled or baked with breadcrums sounded attractive, specially when I asked what Tuna is was, Yellow Fin.Great, 3 orders please all grilled, that`s where the disappointment kicked in, 3 times so overcooked with nothing Pink or reddish left, just a grey dry texture, a faillure from the kicthen, far to long in de pan, pff a beginners mistake,Reclamation to the waiter, let to NO result, just the short answer, you need to talk to the manager, that`s it.The ambiance of the place made some good, its has this historic atmosphere, so typical for Tuscany.If around again I will walk in for a coffee or so en leave the dinner thing.
