Superb restaurant which serves typical Tuscan dishes: they the tagliata (sliced beef) or the wild boar. You won't be disappointed. The antipasti misti are among the best I ever tasted. .

Restaurant Trattoria Il Cedrino is also a pizzeria with a wood stove in Cecina , in the province of Livorno . Our kitchen offers traditional dishes with full menus with fish and meat . Cedrino is the ideal destination for lovers of good taste and original
We ate at Il Cedrino last June, and the food was excellent. There were 4 adults & 2 children, everyone with a different order. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We also had some different appetizes, The mussels were fantastic. The service was great, even though we had limited knowledge of the Italian language. The servers did their best to make sure we understood what we had ordered.

We just came back from this restaurant. We are a family of 3 with a 6-year old child. We were happy because the nice waitress gave us a table with room for four persons in front of the playground. Our son could play around while we could watch him from the table. While my husband and son were at the playground, I was waiting for the waitress so that I could order. Instead the waitress that I assume owns the place (because she was pushing her waiters around) could not speak a word of English, wanted to know if we had reservations. We did not but tried to tell her that we were given the table by the waitress. There was no reservation sign on the table. She wanted us to move to a table in the back so that other customers which seemed to be a friend of her could get our table. They were two, no kids. When my husband asked why we were removed she said because our new table was bigger and more suitable for us. It was a table for six and in the back and far from the playground. We noticed that she talked to her friends for about 10 minutes before we were removed. Obviously, her friends were more important. She was arrogant and tried to convince us that our new table was better. If we did not have our son with us we would have left the restaurant. The pizza filling was ok. The rest of the pizza was not. The other waitresses were nice. We will not come backAs a customer I do not want to be removed unless there is a very good reason. Friends are not a good reason.

It is a little outside of the beach town of Cecina, but it is worth the trip!
Beautiful place and wonderful cuisine!A very interesting essay of Italian cooking: meat and fish traditional with a big care in preparation and attention to fine ingredients. It's worth it and absolutely deserves a visit!!Do not miss it!!Suggestions: pici con sarde, ravioli con totani, stinco di maiale. Absolutely gods the cakes as well.

We found this restaurant by searching near our hotel online It was about 30 minutes from our hotel and had great reviews. It was rainy that night but we were determined to find a decent spot for dinner. My husband parked a few blocks away since this is tucked away in an alley, and once we were able to find the restaurant we saw that it has a terrace with a nice view. We were asked if we had any reservations (this was a Tuesday night) we said no. They were able to accommodate us and this is around 7pm at night. Once we got seated and ordered, all the other tables were filled up quickly. I asked if our server spoke English, she said little, Again another good sign! the menu had English version so that was really helpful to us. I knew a few Italian phrases and the service was great. I expected that the dinner service is supposed to be luxurious and no one is to be rushed out. I appreciated that. We had appetizer and I believe it was the minestrone soup that my husband loved, they gave us a little gift from the kitchen which was consisted of a little meatball on top of a white thing that I'm not sure what was but it was delicious and my husband ordered the house lasagna and I got a rosemary beef. Everything was great! we also ordered the house wine with dinner. We proceeded to order café and tiramisu. While we were eating and observing, it did seem like its a family owned establishment and a lot of locals come in, since they actually have some conversation with the staff upon entering leaving the establishment. I could make out some of what they are saying since I'm bilingual and my native tongue is very similar to Spanish. They accept credit cards. We truly had a great time and we are very glad we stumbled upon this gem of place

La cantina is a family-owned restaurant located in the center of Riparbella. I have been there many times in the last ten years, and, although the style of the menu and the inner décor changed a lot through the years (they turned the restaurant from a simple country meal trattoria, when it was run by the father, to a more posh place, when the son became the manager), they kept the same quality and the same Tuscan-style tradition (the head chef is still the mother, an old-style Tuscan cook). It is hard to get the full menu (antipasti, one primo piatto, one secondo piatto, plus the dessert) without being stuffed well before the end. My advice is always to take mixed antipasti, which are basically composed by a selection of affettati (prosciutto and salame toscano) and good crostini (baked or deep-fried croutons, topped with meat sauces), and either a selection of primi (my favorite ones are tagliolini with truffle, and pappardelle with wild boar sauce), or some tagliata (grilled beef sirloin), with some fresh vegetables (spinach or baked potatoes). Finally, a dessert, accompanied by some fine liquor (grappa morbida is my favorite one). The selection of wine is great (they also sell wine bottles online). The service is always nice and passionate, and the atmosphere is really quiet and relaxing (the restaurant room is obtained by adapting an old cattleshed, with still shows the original timber beams). The restaurant became a little bit pricey in the last few years (say 40 euros for the dinner I described above, including some local wine), but it always deserves a visit. All kind of dinners (couples, family, friends, and business) can fit this restaurant, which is open also for lunch. Due to the limiting seats, reservation is highly recommended.

I have been in this place for dinner. We took appetizers, main course and dessert. No wine. Overall, the menu was varied and well exposed. This indicates a great passion of restaurateur in their job.An antipasto misto well presented, excellent cured meats and especially the fantastic pie boar.A stunning second: the wild boar riparbellina with roasted potatoes. I assure you that is the best boar I've ever tasted. Finally a great dessert: apple pie with mascarpone.Concluding: perfect dinner, excellent food quality, very good preparation and presentation of dishes, good price: 30 euro.Fast delivery of dishes.Try it.

We had lunch after having enjoyed the adventure park, and the food was just delicious! Very good value for money, and the service was very nice! We would however suggest to replace the plastic cutlery by real forks and knives for environmental reasons. grazie di essere venuti e di aver colto la semplicità del nostro agriristo! vi informo della possibilità anche di soggiornare nel nostro B&B La sanguigna in cui promuoviamo we enogastronomici in autunno, con 2 pernotti, una cena completa, visita in cantina di Bolgheri a 200 a coppia. potete richiedere info scrivendomi [email protected] oppure vedere immediatamente la struttura nel profilo fb Bed and breakfast la sanguigna.grazie della vostra attenzione, angela 340-3375426.
