Piacenza [pjaˈtʃɛntsa] listen (help·info) (Emilian-Romagnol: Piasëinsa, Latin: Placentia) is a city and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Piacenza. Modern forms of the name descend from Latin Placentia. The etymology is long-standing, tracing an origin from the Latin verb placēre, "to please." In French, and occasionally in English, it is called Plaisance. The name means a "pleasant abode", or as James Boswell reported some of the etymologists of his time to have translated it, "comely". This was a name "of good omen."

great service, great quality and great price....This place is exactly what you want from a restaurant, its really fast really friendly and really relaxed...the only minor complaint i have is that i would have liked a drinks menu as i would have ordered a draft beer rather than a bottled beer.but that said i will be returning defo.

This place takes the street food to excellence level. To make a good meal first you need high quality ingredients and this is whatâs at Punto G. With a touch of regional taste. And price is very reasonable. A must try for a quick but tasty bite.

We wanted to find a pub/restaurant that was showing the Europa League Final. Reception phoned ahead and they said it would be on their TV. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the "real" feel Irish pub style decor. We ordered our first drinks and were also provided with a delicious complimentary plate of local style appetizers. I had an Irish style Rib Eye steak and my colleague had the irish style burger. Both were cooked to absolute perfection and the service was very quick. All in all the staff looked after us very well and the price at the end of the night was very reasonable. When I next visit Piacenza this place will be definitely on my places to dine list.Thank you for your review. We are honoured."As vadum la prosma vota". Enjoy
