Locale semplice, informale. Buoni gli antipasti, tortellini ottimi con ampia scelta. Secondo anche questo buono. Personale gentile. Direi che la cucina è ottima. L'unica nota da aggiungere e che non c'è un menù da poter scegliere con relativi prezzi.

The name of the place says all. It looks great and you keep your eyes open all the way. Views are really magnificent. But restaurants are not only for watching. The food is local and made in accordance with strictest local standarts! Believe me, I spent some time in the area in efforts to get the best price/quality ratio. I found it - it's Belvedere. If you are in Piacenza or Parma, or it happens that you are visiting Castell'Arquato, get the car and come to here - you will not be disappointed!

Had previously dined here for Sunday lunch but have now confirmed weekdays are just as good. Torta fritta with local meats was sensational followed by gnochetti with truffles, tortellini with ricotta and spinach and chicche della nonna. Roast veal and potatoes rounded out an impressive meal with local wines. Didn't save enough room for dessert but will be back again soon!

The restaurant offers its clients local dishes from Emilia, the inevitable selected delicatessen, where the special DOP (Parmigiano Reggiano, Culatello and Parma Ham 24 months) accompanied by one of our specialties, the "fried cake." We serve the best foo
I visited the Trattoria Ceriati with my wife and brother and sister-in-law as part of our long weekend in Salsomaggiore Terme to visit the Vernasca Hill Climb. Inevitably the menu had lots of local speciality dishes, e.g. Parma ham and variants, but it also offered a wider choice including roast duck and some good grill choices. We had steak and lamb dishes, after starters of hams, anolini and fried pasta. All very good, as were the Valpolicella and Brunello wines we tasted. We were also the recipient of some sort of lethal cherry (?) liqueur, foc, which went down very well. Lovely service, good location, perfect night. Well worth 5 stars. Recommended by our hotel, Villa Fiorita.

Each time I'm visiting Italy, I'm trying to come to Salsomaggior Terme especially to have a meal at Osteria del Castello. I'm always getting top quality food, excellent service and warm personal greetings from the owner. Caramelized onion and tortelli with truffle sauce remain may favorite. If you are in Salsomaggiore Terme or passing by, stop by Osteria del Castello for true taste of Italy.

Good first impression..poor english menu. One price in english other in italian menu. You have to be careful with this. Ask several times before ordering anything otherwise you can be surprised at paying (not the good way). Hint: be careful with steak ;) its not 3.9 as stated in english menu although we asked several times..Dear Mr. Sandis,We're very sorry to read your negative feedback; please let us further explain the misunderstanding occurred. Here in Italy the "Fiorentina" steak is always priced in any restaurant for 1 hectogram (1/10 of kilogram), so for 1 Kg of meat (2.2 lbs) you pay 10x the menu price. Even though it's not reasonable to believe that 1Kg steak can be priced 4 euros in a restaurant or anywhere else, we eventually accorded you a huge discount, accepting in fact the amount you were willing to spend. We also had an outdated english menu, that we have already reprint, and we're sorry for that.Best regards,Graziano Besenzi

Came a Wednesday evening. Weâre some of the first guest but the restaurant was soon filled with local people. Had gnocchi and my son and daughter spaghetti and ravioli. The food was fantastic. We continued with their carpaccio (only served in the summer) which was high recommended.

In the lower part of the medieval village of Castell'Arquato, along the steep road that leads to the Castle, you find the Restaurant Enoteca del Borgo. Local small, intimate and welcoming, the ideal place to taste the specialities of Piacenza both traditi
Very charming restaurant we visited twice, both times for lunch. On the road to the castle, possibly 75m from the entrance gate. Very charming, patient and helpful staff, and the food, mainly the pasta, was worthy. Being lunch, I might like to suggest the house wine (it was a refreshing, very reasonable Lambrusco) Was fun...

This restaurant is amazing. The terrace is a beautiful place to eat and take in wonderful views. The food is superb and the wine list offers a great choice (some are very local). The very-reasonable price top off an outstanding meal. I would recommend to anyone and return if again in the area. Cheers
