Easy to reach, just off the highway at about 3 km from the historical centre. Two private parkings and one garage are available to secure your car (fee not inclusive in B&B), although Piacenza is still a very quiet place. Recently refurnished, it offers modern rooms, all perfectly sound-proofed with comfortable new mattress to rest easy. Our restaurant Farnese is opened daily for dinner only, serving either regional or italian home made dishes (menu is changed every week).Wi-fi connection is free and unlimited.
I was in Italy for buisness trip. I have chosen hotel Ovest for 2 nights. The room was clean, food was really tasty in a good price. People were really friendly and helpful. There was an issue with a parking space in the evening. All parking places were busy.

This is a nice, centrally located hotel although rather expensive. My sixth floor room was large, clean, with a great view of the city. One problem was that there were no coat hangers in the room. My evening meal in the restaurant was good and staff (particularly the lady serving breakfast) were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast wasn’t included (€9 extra) which, although very tasty (including prosecco, although fruit juices were watered down) it should have been included in the price. Comfortable hotel although not cheap!

Modern hotel catering to the business and leisure traveler, located at the outskirts of the city with easy access to motorways.
I have stayed inthis hotel quite a few times, and have always enjoyed the services that correspond to what I usually expect when going to a Best Western hotel. Last time was still overall satisfactory but I have noticed some details which demonstrated lower standards than usual (empty minibar, no complimentary slippers, no bathroom set). These are details and I imagine that the Covid19 period can explain reduced services, but I hope that in a near future they will rise up to their usual standard. Great experience however at the restaurant, where we had a great dinner ; even if the menu offered liited choice, the quality of what was proposed was beyond what we had expected.

Here In this beautiful setting, you will find a place where time seemingly stands still and where you can restore your physical wellbeing and revive your inner spirit. 17 rooms are waiting to welcome you with their simple yet refined warm atmosphere. You may even treat yourself to the "Suite del palazzo", the Tower Suite, located in a Medieval watchtower and distributed over three floors: a large accomodation consisting of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room. In Wintertime, the flames of the chipwood burning heater in your room will embrace you with a golden glow. In Summertime, leave your window open to let in the gentle breeze and the natural light from the surrounding hills.
We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel, surrounded by the countryside. It is very calm and relaxing. We had a drink outside while the kids were playing in the beautiful huge garden. The place and surrounding really amazed us, but what really makes this place unique is the people that work there as they put every single effort in to make you comfortable. We never waited, someone was always there to help. Apéro is so nicely presented, with delicious snacks that were served with. Then the dinner....we rarely tasted such incredible meal. Everything was so fresh and tasty. They made sure the kids had their meals as soon as possible (without us asking). ALL, really ALL waiters are very professional and very kind, including the hotel director who greets you with a big smile every time he sees you. Very welcoming :-) But we were impressed in particular with one waiter who spoke all sorts of languages and who carried his kindness everywhere to share with the guests. Breakfast is another story: FANTASTIC. So much choice, best bacon I every tasted in my life, best coffee, best eggs. My daughter is lactose intolerant, and they provided us with a large choice of lactose free products. (This is rare to find) The SPA is very comfortable and cosy, very clean and organised. The room was beautiful, we had a family room at the top of the building. We were nostalgic to leave :-) The beds were very comfortable, and sheets very soft. We will be returning soon and can't wait to be there again. Thank you to the whole teaming we strongly recommend this hotel to you!

Enchantment and nature, History and Art are to be found in this Castle, which has lived through the years intact, enclosed within narrow walls with battlements and surrounded by woods and vineyards. Vigoleno Castle dwells between the Po River and the Emilia Apennines, at about one hour far from Milan and Bologna and their airports, and 10 minutes far from Salsomaggiore. Such Dwelling can offer its beauties whoever is searching for something special and unique.Vigoleno Castle embodies the ideal framwork for a romantic escape, an anniversary, a relaxing holiday, here you can live as well as a fairytale
Our stay here was great. We stayed 3 days in a 900 year old castle, how many people can say that? The bathrooms we're well acquainted and fully functional, albeit the showers where are very small. Quite frankly, I was surprised at the generous size of the rooms and the bathrooms that we rented. The accommodations were quite comfortable, and we did not have any issues with the rooms. It seems to me that they did a good job of marrying comfort with the historical authenticity of the castle. There is also a restaurant on site which was very good oh, we found the food to be delicious! When you visit here, do not pass up the museum they have on-site, they really have some fascinating exhibits.

We stayed one night here and enjoyed the wonderful location, directly on the river bank of the river Po, in an old farmhouse, combined with an excellent dinner. The room was perfect, the view astounding, and the food marvellous. A really good place to stay, and a very friendly staff as well.

We loved the friendly welcome at the reception and the attention of the owner, making everything that was possible to satisfy our wishes. Superb the garden and the breakfast (freshly prepared). Room was spacious and even if the location is close to the motorway, we did not hear the noise and slept very well.

In a quiet location this elegant old property has buildings and grounds that firmly establish it as an attractive place to stay. An outdoor restaurant and the neighbouring castle complete the scene. Highly recommended.

Our experience at this small hotel was outstanding. The design of our room was intelligent, sleek and comfortable. The common room is large, with magnificent views, beautiful orchids and heavenly music. The outside area is beautifully open and serene. The dinner prepared with love and skill was exceptional for the quality ingredients and the inspired techniques. The breakfast was fresh with top-quality fruit (berries) and cheese. The cakes were homemade and fabulous. All of the owners' suggestions for what to see and where to go were excellent. Go-go-go.
