Complimenti allo staff!

The restaurant is part of a hotel in a beautiful location with stupendous views across the mountains and the valley. When we had lunch there, the terrace was under renovation, but the views are great also from the dining room.We arrived late, the kitchen was closing after lunch, but the owner was very kind to ask the chef (his mother) if she could cook us something. At first, we wanted to leave, but we did not and it was a great decision. Risotto frutti di mare was absolutely to die for and my Italian friends confirmed that it was 'like their mum's cooking', which is the best compliment on food in Italy. Vitello was also great, but I am still remembering that fantastic risotto!.... The owner was very pleasant and we had a great chat with him.We should definitely be back for dinner or lunch very soon.

I am from Norway, we know our seafood, and this was QUALITY! :) I am very happy that i tripped over this doorstep and landed on a menu. I love Silvi, I am coming back as soon as I can, and this will be the first restaurant I visit :) The only thing was the waiters english, but I love training my Italian, so no problem for me :D

During a visit to Abruzzo in April, we heard about this restaurant that had recently changed management and chef and decided to try it as it is in the vicinity of where we were staying. The place is very spacious and has plenty of good natural light. We ended up eating lunch and dinner several times over the month as we found the selection and food very delicious with exceptionally fresh seafood, expertly cooked in order to retain the freshness and flavour. One of the times we took some local friends who used to go when the previous owner was there. The friends were very delighted with the improved service and quality of food and will go more often now. The owners are very professional and always on hand for any questions. The restaurant has a good wine list. The waiters were very professional and courteous. We will definitely go back when we are next in Abruzzo.

Fried Fish
Se sei a Silvi non puoi non concederti un panino con i calamari fritti, specie se accompagnato da una birra e da una panchina con vista mare.....

This is a classy restaurant which serves quality food. We had brilliant antipasti consisting of a variety of raw fish, cold cooked fish and hot fish. Just as good as a top Japanese restaurant. Mains were sea bass which we had done in different ways. My wife's was presented in a large pan which meant it kept cooking. I found that hers was a little over when I compared with mine. Great wine selection and coffee was outstanding.

We had our wedding dinner here and we were really happy with the service and the food. Everything went smooth from beginning to end and the quality of the food outstanding! Variety and presentation amazing as usual even if you come for a regular meal. Marcello is great!

The place was packed on a saturday night. Bruno the owner was very accommodating, as he wizzed around to keep the service and kitchen flowing amazingly. We sat with a bottle of organic local Abruzzo white on a bench overlooking Silvi Marina and the entire souther Adriatic coast and then had a superb meal, antipasti of every sort of seafood. He just kept bringing it on. No menu. All delights.

A treasure of a seafood restaurant in citta s. angelo. This review is seriously long overdue since we have been eating on a very regular basis at Margazzill for several years now. The very fact that we continue to enjoy eating here is a testamony to the fact that the quality of this restaurant is very high since we are very finicky eaters. Recently, the owner Claudio has built a brand new restaurant where the very comfortable ambience is a very tasteful understated elegance. It is stylish yet you feel at home here. Claudio has always had a flair for immaginative plates of the freshest fish which are not only deliscious but an absolute work of art on a plate. His antipasto comes in a huge selection of raw, cold and hot and they are all garnished with various fruits, flowers, nuts and sauces. Truly too good for words. Our particular favorites are the calamari served with crushed almonds and the little fish bites served with carmalized onions. The pastas and risotto dishes are all fantastic as are the selections of seconds. His wine selection is also quite exceptional. The service is attentive and you are left with the impression that they really do care about your dinning experience. If you like great tasting fish served with a touch of refinement and style then Margazzil will not disappoint you.
