This place is a great take-away specialising in Genoese fast foods, pizza etc. It is extremely well-priced and the service is friendly and helpful. There are even tables and seats outside and if you're lucky the sun will be shinning.

This hole-in-the-wall type place is an institution in Urbino. Here they made fresh daily, pizza bianca (similar to focaccia without sauce or toppings) and pizza rossa (piazza bianca with tomato base). If you are coming to Urbino and want to sample some of Urbinoâs best pizza at a true pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice sold at small take-away shop), then head to Il Buco and order up a slice of Pizza Rossa!

La Rocca serves traditional Marche and Roman dishes joined by the pizzeria and the international grill. We are open for lunch and dinner. Our lounge bar stay open after dinner.
This was not just a dinner, was an experience, we arrived to the Sassoferrato's down town, walked around and moved to the restaurant by foot so we enjoyed the full tour until we arrived in front of the rock church, unfortunately we were there late in the evening so we were not able to know it inside but this place is the best location to have dinner, outside you will see like an traditional italian "villa" but inside the image change and you will find a small castle with a very nice decoration and a great menu; was very funny to see a full area in the menu dedicated to spicy pizza, so I tried one, was not so spicy but very very tasty

This is a regular haunt for us in Fossombrone and the quality of the pizzas never seems to vary, always being thin crispy and piping hot. There is a wide choice on the menu and we have also tried the pasta dishes and found them excellent. Red house wine is sometimes a bit harsh but the white is reliable. There is an extensive range of bottled wine on the list as well as artisan beers. We always get a good welcome and the service is friendly and attentive with food arriving promptly. The restaurant is in a vaulted basement simply but attractively fitted out and has an interesting display of photographs of Fossombrone's past.

Wonderful experience! The quality of the food was excellent. Both meat eaters and vegetarians left the table very happy. Finally, the service is stunning, the staff is funny, nice and caring and the castle village of Loretello is simply lovely. Worth of a long trip to visit! Meraviglioso, con quantità abbondantissime e di ottima qualità . Forse il piatto più amato al tavolo è stato il nodino ai tre pepi, ma andate sempre sul sicuro. Consigliatissimo.

We were lucky to get a table on a busy Saturday lunchtime, and loved the place. Quite traditional, full of Italians having sociable multi-course lunches, many greeted personally by the staff; cheerful and friendly. I ordered the crescia with cold meats, cheeses and cooked spinach as a starter, and it was so large that we could hardly finish it between two without making another course (already ordered) an impossibility. All the food was good, and apple cake, nut tart and limoncello came gratis at the end. We forced ourselves....Just the kind of place you hope to find, in a small Italian town in the countryside.

I wish I could try all the dishes because they all look awesome. It was a great meal from start to finish. The staff is incredible, very young and organized, did the best to answer all our questions and made great suggestions. The restaurante is cosy and familiar and does not have that gourmet uptightness

The secret to the success of this family-owned business is largely due to chef and owner, Lorenzo Pazzagliaâs enthusiasm for authenticity and his generosity in his approach to food. A 14-page menu offers dozens of varieties of fresh and savory recipes for pastas, pizzas, risottos, and insaladas that inspire and satiate the hungriest of patrons. First-time customers and regulars eat family style, sharing culinary creations bursting with native flavors. The waiters are kind, gracious and friendly (and Lorenzo will be among them â you will find no greater host!). The reasonable prices, lavish servings and incredible flavors ensure return customers. Note: If you wish to secure a table for dinner on a weekend, it is best to call ahead for reservations. The name Poggio translates to âhill.â Located above the city of Cagli, bordered by a row of large shading trees, Il Poggio stands in stark white against the blue sky. The furnishings are simple and casual. The restaurant seems to beckon to customers to come in, have a seat and be among friends. One of the most famous items on the menu is Spaghetti alla Carbonara, a creamy dish of pasta, cheese, eggs, pancetta (bacon), and black pepper. If you donât experience this specialty of the house plus the Carbonara Tartufo, you are missing out on one of the most incredible flavor sensations of your life.In addition to the savory pastas, Il Poggio is known for departing from traditional Italian cuisine and celebrating the passion that Lorenzo has for spiceâexceptionally hot spice. Lorenzo cultivates and imports more than a hundred hot chili peppers from around the world to incorporate into his menu. Some are served fresh, others dried and ground. The most potent are simmered and reduced to a frightening intensity.Scaldingly hot peppers including Naga Viper, Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia (ghost pepper) and Smokin Edâs Carolina Reaper can be added to a special selection of pizzas and pastas to challenge the bravest of diners to a sweltering contest of wills. Customers who successfully attempt to consume the âworldâs hottest pizzaâ at Il Poggio not only gain bragging rights, they also receive a commemorative T-shirt and what is certain to be a raging case of indigestion. Rustic rosemary bread is drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with rock salt. Mushrooms saute in olive oil. Lush ripe melon is cut into slices and set aside on a tray filled with prosciutto. Delightful aromas of butter, cheese, and truffles fill the air. Just as art is an expression of an artist, cooking reveals the personality of the chef. At Il Poggio, Lorenzo Pazzaglia reveals his passion, imagination, and generous spirit. He creates meals that not only nourish the body, they nourish the soul â one overflowing plate at a time.thanks a lot and a nice read what you wrote for us super likeable photographer you and all your friends -Friends and always a pleasure to have you as a customer but mostly as friends thank Lorenzo and all the staff of poggio

We took a stroll through this beautiful village on our arrival night, we had done no research into the town or what to expect. We came cross La Bottega Di Via Cimarelli and took a seat in the outdoor courtyard. Our Spoken Italian is limited and the owners English is minimal also, but don't let this turn you away. The menu is amazing!!!We asked for what ever pizza he recommended, accompanied with two glasses of local red wine. What came to our table was nothing but beautiful food and wine. A lovely way to spend the evening under a lit- up umbrella
