The day we visited Spello was so hot that we were very happy to arrive in the little piazza where Caffé Cavour is located. We went in and set at one of the few tables in the café which is a sight in itself (counter, decorations, tables).All five of us ordered a different gelato; it was fantastic and also inexpensive given the generous portions (the small cone at 2Euros was quite enough).

At the outskirts of the city. Different kinds of bread, also cereals and integral. Great choice of cakes and pastry. Also the best ice cream of Spello.

We spotted this restaurant while walking up the steep hill to the town centre. Through the entrance the garden looked attractive. On our return back down we called in for a drink and a snack. We sat at a table overlooking a valley and great countryside. An friendly girl bought us an excellent panini each and a beer and white wine. We paid 18euro and felt we had made a correct choice for a 'pit-stop'. Would recommend!

Dinner am 26. Juli 2017Heute Abend haben wir Lust auf Pizza aber nich nur Pizza.Wir treffen gegen 20 Uhr ein das lokal ist leer, allerdings weil es sehr neu ist nun noch nich bekannt.Es is der Anbau an eine Unterkunft (ev. Ein Agriturismo) es verfügt über ein Zweiteiligen Sall im Freien au der einen Seite von einer Grossen Rasenfläche umgeben auf der Anderen Seite ein Pool.Das Essen wir essen quer Beet Vorspeisen Fritto di Terra (Pomes, gefüllte Oliven, Zwibelringe und Mozzarella Bällchen) über Primi Pappardelle mit Windschwein oder Spaghetti Carbonara zu den Hauptgerichten Fritto Misto aud dem Meer (Callamari, Scampi etc.) Scalopino all Limone und Pizza natürlich.Das Essen ausnahmslos sehr Gut allerdings zu viel.Das Wirtepaar bedient selber trotz Doppeljob gibt es auch hier keinen Tadel.Unbedingt hingehen so lange noch mit so viel Herzblut gearbeitet wird
