La Locanda Del Capitano restaurant, wow! Giancarloâs passion for food and local produce really shines through in the menu and the food was amazing! Both chef Giancarlo, the twin sommeliers were welcoming, informative and friendly. A wonderful experience. Book now without hesitation!

This was our second time eating here, the first time for our kids. I can't begin to express how wonderful the staff is and the food is always exceptional! We stayed at Agriturismo Le Casacce and they had recommended the restaurant, I'm beyond pleased we took their advice. Their meats are consistently fresh, cooked to perfection, the sides are always great, desserts and fabulous...but the antipasto always always had the best salumi, cheeses, and torta al testo. We sat outside, but the inside is just beautiful as well.

The Poggiomanente Restaurant is one of the most appreciated in the area and a point of reference for the lovers of quality cuisine. The complex is located in a favourite destination for those who appreciate food & wine holidays in Umbria: truffle, porcini
We arrived as the restaurant, where we have eaten many times previously, was closing due to a change of flight to Rome. The owners reopened the kitchen and the restaurant just for my wife, my 2 granddaughters and myself. We were not hurried and had an excellent meal with 3 courses including wine at a total cost of Euros 85. Cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant and the staff.

What you see is exactly what you get. A wide choice of delicious and not very expensive pizzas served in a cheerful space with a childrens play area at one end. This can generate quite a lot of noise ( our own grandchildren contributed some) but its a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. Service is swift and very friendly.

Per Sapere Veramente Chi Siamo Venite A Trovarci Perche' Solo I Nostri Piatti Parlano Veramente Di Noi!!!
Visited this restaurant several times the last few years. Chiara and her husband brings very good food on the table. All from the region and the season! Good quality products, with slow cooking. Last time I ate the Tagiliatella and Caniglio: so pure in taste. Very good work. It is realy worth visiting this restaurant.

Mirko is an inventive chef who wonderfully combines Umbrian cuisine with a more refined international blend. His stuffed pigeon with foie gras is a personal favourite. Excellent taste combined with presentation and a wide selection of wines. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. He also arranges special theme evenings. On 31st March it's Bourgogne night which I am not going to miss.

Tucked away on a side street in Umbertide, C'era Una Volta takes great pride in their locally sourced ingredients and creative menu. Generous and delicious antipasto platter is enough to make you want come back again and again. Delicious house wine is available, along with great hospitality. Nice use of mixing fruit with meats and vegetables. Highly recommend the roasted zucca with raisins.

We ate outside in this delightful restaurant with delicious food and charming service. Food is prepared with inventive touches using locally prepared or sourced ingredients. Dishes are beautifully served on lovely tableware and in spite of all this (and extras such as petits fours and a welcoming glass of sparkling wine) prices are astonishingly reasonable. All in all this restaurant has been the culinary highlight of our trip to Umbria.
