Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Bevagna. About 15 miles southeast of Perugia lies the lovely walled town of Bevagna, which, happily for travel-weary hill-climbing legs, is basically flat relative to other area towns. Can’t-miss sights include the 12th-century Palazzo dei Consoli (Palace of the Consuls) and the churches of St. Sylvester and St. Michael Arcangel, both also dating from the 12th century. The Madonna of the Snow was built atop a Roman temple ruin. The Mercato delle Gaite, a major medieval festival, happens every June.

Absolutely fresh steak tartare , amazingly tasty. Astonishing tomatoes straight from the owners garden . Soft and delicious Guanciale with a rich but not cloying sauce. One of our best lunches. Spotlessly clean facilities and very friendly family restaurant . Hello from Il genitori da Honey G!!!

We chose this place because we have spent time in Sicily and love their flavorful food. And, we are seafood lovers. We both ordered the swordfish with capers, tomatoes, and olives. In theory, this should be a great dish. The fish was extremely fishy an not fresh tasting. The olives were nearly flavorless like canned ripe olives. The crostini assortment we started with was fine though.

The structure is completely renovated, it is in the location that in setting. We moved inside the Municipal Park of Bevagna, known as Campo dei Frati. From the old kiosk we made a warm and cozy during the winter but airy and with a beautiful space outside
This place and Chef Simone are the highlights of my trips to Umbria!! Every course is perfect--taste and presentation. The atmosphere in the restaurant is light and airy with lovely music always playing the background. Le Delize Del Borgo is a wonderful experience--every time I'm there! I can't wait to visit again.....

I have never visited such an amazing little cafe/restaurant. Inside is full of books, objects, pictures and wine, all packed into a small characterful place in a marvellous village in Umbria. The pasta served to our party of 10 was wonderful. The menu is small but if you're in the area, check it out!Be amazed!

Nâ Anticchia in our dialect means âa little bit of somethingâ, and it is exactly that âlittleâ which permeates this locationâs spirit. Nâanticchia is a tiny place where traditional flavours, sounds and emotions echo through the eyes of those who want to l
You may expect to find a number of drinks and a good collection of wine at this little place but they also serve very good, freshly prepared small dishes of different kinds. If you just want a drink and maybe something light to eat to that, this is the place. The service is friendly and helpful.

The Restaurant " Redibis " is born from the awareness of a unique location and the will to save it from the obvious museum logic, in order to make it host the ancient ritual of dinner instead. We are in the Roman Theatre in Bevagna, built in the first cen
Great service: informed, professional, friendly and not rushed (in spite of the fact that we were the only diners). We ordered several courses to share, which were thoughtfully divided into half portions and served consecutively. A reasonably romantic space, unexpectedly deep set (you pass through several rooms/hallways to get to the main dining room) and appropriately decorated. We shared: amberjack carpaccio (good), arancini (good), crema of peas (excellent), risotto with asparagus (excellent), spaghettone with tomato sauce and pecorino (excellent), and a very nice dessert of chestnut cream and poached pear. I tried Sangrantino for the first time and enjoyed those deep tannins. Highly recommended.

We have eaten at this recently opened Osteria/ enotecca for supper, lunch and occasional breakfast eight times in March and April. One evening meal was very good indeed as were two breakfasts. The coffee is good, but cappuccinos were not. But three other evening meals were very disappointing. Dry main courses and warmed up pasta, i.e. not freshly cooked were the main problems. The service was variable, sometimes ok, sometimes indifferent and even disdainful. Cappuccinos at most recent breakfast were served with longlife milk and stale cornetti. A great shame because when it is good it is very good. We will not go back until we hear they have got their act together.NeedDear Highbury19,thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad that you have come to our osteria 8 times.. the problem is that we do not remember You! Are You sure you have reviewed the right place? We have this strong doubt also because your statements are not correct: we never serve warmed pasta and our cornetti with homemade jam are always fresh as well as the milk. We are very sorry because maybe you have confused our osteria with some other place, However, we invite you to come and visit us as soon as possible. Our best regards.

Steps from the historic central piazza. Family owned and operated. Local and fresh meals for breakfast and dinner. Coffee, pastries, local wine, beer and a full bar. Wood-burning fireplace for the chilly days and air-conditioned during the summer. Homemad
I had a very wonderful and delicious lunch here. Very much recommended! In such a touristy town itâs easy to find sub-par food, but thankfully this restaurant is an exception. (Assisi probably has the worst food Iâve ever had in Italy, so beware of which restaurants you choose!) the service was friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful homemade stuffed pasta and nice glass of red wine. Simple but delicious.
