We visited here on recommendation of a friend. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pretty garden under umbrellas with bright, colorful ceramic tables from Deruta. Just very inviting. The food was mostly seafood, their specialty but something for meat eaters too. The bread had salt, and was warm, a welcome surprise in Umbria. We enjoyed the gratis apperitivo while reading the menu. The service was fine. We really enjoyed our visit and will go back since it is not too far daway from where we live.

This pizza restaurant is set at the edge of the Trasimeno Lake just on the outskirts of St Feliciano - so the views and sunset are stunning. It was busy from about 7.30 so you need to book. Service was good, very friendly and child friendly.Food was good - we had a couple of starters and four pizzas which everyone enjoyed and with a bottle of wine and a few soft drinks the bill was 70 Euros. It's not haute cuisine - but it's good food, served well for a good price in a good setting. Perfect for those hot evenings. If you're looking for a great pizza restaurant - I'd recommend this wholeheartedly.

Umbrian cuisine, home made food focused on tradition, zero kilometers vegetables, wines and cheeses. The only dress code required is an empty stomach to fulfill completely with proudly made dishes. We speak English, French and Spanish
We went to Pappagloria for dinner. Once we entered the place, it was clear it has substance: the floor in the room after the entrance comes from a previous building, and the decor matches the history of the place. Everything is well kept as well. Our dog was accepted and welcome even though the place is quite small (be sure to reserve), which was very appreciated by us. The food is made of traditional dishes from Umbria, often revisited by the chef. We had a couple of starters which were simply excellent not to say delicious. We skipped the first course (I wasn't hungry enough and my girlfriend is on a gluten free diet) and went directly for the Fiorentina: it's served on a hot soapstone, which is great not only because it's fascinating but because it keeps the meat warm. Speaking of the meat, it was tender and tasty. We were also suggested a red wine which was very good and quite inexpensive as well.I also had a chocolate pie as dessert and it was excellent as well.Prices are very reasonable.Service was good, even tough with a glitch. My girlfriend was interested in a dessert as well, but the waiter/owner wasn't able to tell if there was what or not inside the ones he had on the menu: it would be very nice if the waiter actually knew what is contained in the dishes being served. Given the niceness of the place and the quality of the food, I will still give 5-stars instead of 4, as they are fully deserved, but the owner should probably fix this small problem.

A really friendly, cool and relaxed atmosphere. The food was great - a new twist on fish dishes (that even picky eaters would like) and all very delicious. There are also non-fish options that are equally tasty. Try the fish and chips - the kids loved it! The people were very welcoming.

Nice place, very clean and industrial modern. Pizzas are good, especially the Calabrese. The pepper pods get roasted while cooking and add a little heat and a lot of flavor / texture. First burger Iâve had in Europe in many years, and it was excellent. Soft bun, not some clam shell ciabatta thing, nice thick patty, mild cheese, crunchy bacon. The best burger I have ever had outside the U.S. French fries had an interesting cut; sort of canoe shaped, cooked perfectly. Tiramisu was delicious. Good place for a date or family.

We visited on a very hot day at lunchtime. We hadn't reserved ahead but we're found a table by the window overlooking Lake Trasiemeno. The restaurant was cool and made a perfect pitch for us. The menu is quite extensive and not overpriced - particularly emphasising fish and seafood from the lake. We both chose pasta - mine with prawns from the lake - very tasty. The house white is a notch above most and was perfectly chilled. Excellent service, too.

We visited twice, both times we were 2 couples for a dinner occasion. The restaurant is always busy, reservations are necessary. They have indoor sitting and outdoor on the terrace. Super crowded. The downside is only one waiter with one assistant. They were so super busy. Accordingly, the service was slow. We didnât mind that as we were enjoying our company. We took our guests here as we wanted them to see how umbricelli with Sagrantino wine are passed in the Parmigiano cheese bowl (for a little dining entertainment). The waiter though was not planning to move close to us before we specifically asked for it. As I said, the restaurant was very busy and they wanted to avoid to move around with the cart. We liked our waiterâs sense of humor and I remember he was the same one from a year ago. Memorable character.)) For our dinner we went with Sagrantino wine and all typical dishes. I especially appreciated coratella and umbricelli pasta with Sagrantino wine. The only disappointment was the chicken liver pâté, which was extremely dry and crumbly. Definitely the worst we have ever had. The rest was fine.

Of course I read the reviews on Trip advisor and thought this would be an interesting place to eat. For outside, make a reservation. We did, and when we arrived, all tables were reserved. Casual environment. Very "local" place which is always a good sign. This was are first day on Holiday and we were tired. We wanted a place that was casual but tasty. -----The food has a great variety at a good cost. All ages would appreciate. I have been in Italy a week prior for work and had the luxury of eating at some top places. This place is good if you are in the city or coming within 20 minutes. If it is longer, it is not a great tourist city to do other things. The food is very good and the atmosphere is very nice. It wasn't amazing, but for this area it is one of the better options. Good prices as well.

My wife and I ate lunch two days in a row at this excellent restaurant. Seasonal dishes with porcini mushrooms, chinghiale and truffles. Umbrian torte served with the meals is a special treat.

We were staying in a hotel nearby so saw the restaurant rated highly for the locality. On arrival we were greeted by Claudia herself who told us that the food is all handmade using ingredients they grew and animals they bred themselves on the farm, they even press their own wine which we enjoyed so much we bought a bottle to bring home! The food was absolutely delicious and obviously extremely fresh and the service was attentive particularly Roberto who was keen on informing us of the source of the ingredients and how they made it to our plates which we loved! Definitively give Claudiaâs âgardenâ a try!! Thank YOU!!!Claudia Russo
