Absolutely best beef ever, with very modern and uncommon style of serving. Also the wines are very, very good, and strong. The restaurant is also very nice and the waiter/owner very helpful. But cannot speak English, you have to practise the Italian :o)Make a reservation in advance. They are closed on Mondays.Defenitely the best beef tartar and beef sashimi ever.

In Passignano on a Monday. Many restaurants have their closing day on Monday. So we were kind of winging our choice. Nice view of the lake. Nice linen tablecloths. Pretty place. There were five of us and we were all very happy with our food. Panzanella with scampi, gnocchi a sagrantino, grilled octopus, grilled orate with potatoes and beans. All nicely presented and well prepared. Service was fun. If I had a complaint it is a bit overpriced and the portions are a bit small. I would, and will, go back.

Restaurant with garden. You might do in here cooking classes at the Cooking school Trasimeno
On every occasion when new people are introduced to this restaurant, they go back. The changing seasonal menu is a gastronomic delight. Whether the produce is of the land, sea or lake it is extremely tasty and wonderfully cooked. It is complimented by sensibly priced wine. The service is excellent. If I were to make a criticism, it would be that Francesca, the proprietor/chef, does not visit tables and therefore misses out on very favourable feedback.

The restaurant is located in the hotel where we stayed for a week, which was very convenient. We had a dinner here twice, and the food was very good on both occasions. The best deal is to choose from a two-course or three-course meal. There are two menus (fish and meat) and you can mix your choice as you like. The service was very friendly, but there was a big delay (more than an hour) in serving the food for most of the restaurant on the second night. Other than that, everything was very good, and we really enjoyed our evenings here.Dear guests, thank you very much for your positive feedback! We sincerely hope to see you soon back here at Kursaal! Kind regards, Hotel Kursaal Bruno, Anne and all the staff

The service was surely cordial and surely capable of managing an important issue.Believe it or not, one can still find a restaurant with a rather decent wine list without any year attached to its wine selection.... Two options: 1) the motivation is to rob the consumer because any year goes for the established set price or 2) it is to rob the consumer by its ignorance not understanding that the price of a wine is primarily set by its year, and of course its source as winery, region....which a 1ier grand cru, even from a bad year remains an amazing wine. The conclusion is simply unacceptable and even if the food is the best in the world it only deserves a one ball rating. The owner knows very well what he is doing and I have no respect for his kitchen under such a strategy in running his restaurant.Furthermore, the tartar was good, the rest of the food more than acceptable nothing to rave about.Lastly, 6 Euros for two covers for stale bread, again complying with the strategy of robbing the customers kind enough to distribute his or her money for nothing. It is simply not acceptable at all.

We selected Morganâs from a number of options on the lakeside road in Passignano by the wonderful odours from the kitchen. There is an extensive menu to choose from with fish options prominently featured. The portions were generous and the quality and freshness of the food was excellent There is an Italian saying âThe eye must have its shareâ and the presentation certainly lived up the that statement. My spaghetti vongole was silky smooth and well seasoned. Gluten free options are available and requests for them are accepted without a problem. We were looked after by Simona who was polite, friendly and efficient. We had a very tasty and relaxing lunch and would readily return to the restaurant on future visits to the town.

Our kitchen recreates the delicate flavors of genuine Tuscan dishes with a modern twist. Every ingredient used is selected for its quality, freshness and flavor; this creates a memorable experience throughout your meal. Everything is freshly produced dail
We ate here for lunch and dinner during our stay, and loved every minute. This team provides a level of attentive service that is both excellent and genuinely warm. We were certainly impressed with the kitchen (and the wine cellar is full of treasures) but it was the funny, engaging, delightful staff that put our experience over the top. Such a find!
Only recently opened, we stopped by on our motorbike tour. What a fantastic view! Very friendly people and nice personal service. Good chill out music. We had a drink and a salad. Very good, freshly made. We will definitely come again for sundowners!

Great view of the lake, unusually for this area in a slightly secluded location so you are away from the hustle and bustle and eternal traffic. Lovely park which is dog friendly. Good food - the fried lake fish is delicious - and good pasta, with some slightly unusual combinations. Definitely a place to come back to.

A mysterious name evoking ancient times and tormented love stories consumed amidst the walls of this ancient residence, a few steps from the shores of Lake Trasimeno. In the countryside between Umbria and Tuscany, just 10 minutes from Cortona, I Capricci
We ate here twice whilst staying in the hotel, the first night with 4 friends who also really enjoyed the experience.During our two visits we tasted the risotto with peaches & ham (sublime), melon & proscuitto, fillet steak & sliced steak as well as the potato & mushroom starter & pasta with tomato & chilli sauce. All were very good & the cheese cake (pina colada I think) was outstanding.Specials stayed the same both nights which was a shame but the variety is pretty good on the a la carte & prices were very reasonable. Wine & prosecco at 15 euros a bottle is very good VFM.Service was slow on night 1 but very efficient on night 2. Would definitely recommend.Dear McAnnie1,thank you for the positive review, we're happy you enjoyed your dinnets in our Restaurant ! Sorry if the service was slow for the first night but thank you for the second chance ;)We hope to have you as our guest in the futureOur best regards,Arianna, Stefano and the Staff
