Total worth it, we were blown away by how economical it was considering the quality of the food and wine.To be honest at first we were overwhelmed by the waitress who was extremely chatty BUT we realised she really is genuine and so proud of this family run restaurant. It was excellent home-cooking, really tasty food.

Ristorante Deco offers a nice setting for a summerdiner in its garden. The restaurant mainly offers fish. Quality of the meals (I went three evenings) differed very much. Excellent fresh fish in on course, however also dishes covered with an excessive cover of bread-crumbs. The selection of open wines for this kind of restaurant is limited.

In a very traditional area, focused on local traditional Umbria food, Norma Urban Food is a great surprise burgers are good, pulled pork is fantastic, desserts and service on point, and they also make burgers to go. Connected to it there is a vibrant bar, filled with hype and really reasonable prices. Thumbs up

We stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Rome, hot, tired, and unsure of what we would eat. The food is magnificent. I had a caprese mousse that was so delicious I can still taste it. This is definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere near the area.

We had been referred to this restaurant, by locals living in nearby Spello, as a good place for a dinner of pasta or grilled meats. I scouted it out during the day and visually categorized it as a typical small out-in-the-country bar and restaurant. However, when I returned that evening with my wife and friends we found that a surprise transformation had taken place. Tables had been set up outside, some on a patio and the rest on the lawn intermixed with garden shrubbery. Soft lighting and a lit swimming pool and deck in the background created a beautiful ambiance. The menu did not disappoint us either, nor did the wine list. Both offered a variety of pleasing choices at very reasonable prices. The steak offerings were of Angus beef from the USA and from Latin America. The lamb and pork were excellent, too. The meals and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations from earlier in the day. Our Italian friends were so impressed that they returned the next night with their teenaged children and brought us along, too! The second time was every bit as good as the first.

We recently had two evening dinners at Le Melograne as members of Tauck travel group staying at Le Tre Vaselle. Each of the dinners was well prepared, tasty and presented well and serviced with exceptional attentiveness by restaurant staff. A well received touch included table visits by the friendly and passionate restaurant manager who expressed genuine interest that each diner experienced optimal satisfaction with meal and staff services. We recommend this restaurant without reservation...

Lunch was priced reasonably and was delicious. Service was excellent. They gave a gift to the ladies. It's an excellent restaurant to eat at while waiting for the train.

Culinary excellence combined with art and culture. By "excellence" in the kitchen we mean: the choice of raw materials, a purely seasonal menu, constant variability of the winery's menu and distillates of the highest level and a brigade of professionals t
TL;DR - absolutely amazing food (both well-presented and superbly tasty), and service to match. The owners of the restaurant dropped us off to our hotel which was 7 miles away!Full review - My girlfriend and I walked to this restaurant from the airport: a precarious and poorly-planned journey. However, it was worth it for this institution. The owner greeted us at the door, took our coats and bags, and sat us at a table surrounded by gorgeous art. We enjoyed a selection of olive oils served with bread como antipasti: the owner and waiter came with six bottles of olive oil from all over Italy, ranked them from lightest to strongest and explained their origin. We sampled each with bread. The last bottle was especially stunning as it was handmade from their house in Sicily, with a refreshing taste that I did not know was possible to infuse into oil. For mains, I tucked into a sumptuous monkfish dish, whilst my girlfriend enjoyed a gingery fish soup, both of which were beautiful. My dish was served with an alcoholic pumpkin-like sauce, broccoli pieces, mozzarella slices, watercress, bacon cooked to perfection and dried currants - flavours that I would never have dreamed of combining, but worked so well that I have decided to try and duplicate them at home. The winelist was complex and rich, and too daunting for me, so I asked the owner to choose us a nice, deep red. His selection was predictably excellent. Finally, we asked the owner for the best way to reach the city centre. He conducted some research, informed us of train and taxi options, but then came to the decision to drive us and our luggage to the hotel. I was simply awestruck by such kindness. This is the best dining experience I have ever had outside of my own country. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The menu changes monthly.

We were staying in a small town in Umrbia and drove into Bastia to take the train into Florence. On our way back we were starving and found Magnavino in the small town of Bastia. It was a great find! Very friendly staff, the cook came out and was the one to take our orders. We told him what kind of appetizers we liked and he brought out a few different ones for us to try. All were very good! Our main dishes were equally as good. The menu ranges from a homemade pesto pasta to meat and fish dishes like seared tuna. Expect the typical long Italian dinner, they pride themselves in what they make and hope you take the time to enjoy it. We talked a lot to the cook and he told us about how the restaurant started. Our bill was very cheap for ordering as much as we did and for the amazing quality of the food. They ended up giving us a 10% discount at the end, so generous of them! Would 100% recommend if you are in the area of Bastia ever!

We were staying at the hotel so ate here a couple times. If youâre coming from other Italian cities where youâve been walking and roaming around, donât expect that if youâre staying at the hotel that houses this restaurant. Youâll probably be eating at the hotel restaurant âcause thereâs not much else around. We had a couple dinners here. We werenât crazy about the food here. It was OK but certainly not great. The service was fine but the food seemed off compared to other fine restaurants we enjoyed in Italy. The meats were tough and overcooked. Donât get me wrong. The food wasnât awful but was disappointing given all the glowing reviews. The hotel and its staff are wonderful and welcoming. My hotel comments are in a other review. FYI, There is a small, fun local place around the corner from the hotel driveway called Why Not Cafe. Itâs an option.Dear guest, thanks for sharing your experience. San Martino in Campo is a little town near Perugia, only 5 minutes and there are all the services: banks, post office, one pizza restaurant, a supermarket, two bar and clothes stores. While, if you find some special and differents local you have to go to Perugia by bus or by car. We are happy you like our restaurant and even if you havenât find the good so awful, we hope to see you again for antother special tasting. See you, Best regards.F.F
