My wife and I visited Vespolina Snc when we arrived in Vigevano. We expected a restaurant, but discovered it was a wine bar. So, we order a bottle of wine from Sicily which was very inexpensive, but also excellent. In fact, we ordered another bottle to have on our travels. To go with our wine I ordered the roast beef with vegetables sandwich and my wife ordered the verdura with bean sprouts. Both were wonderful and we ordered another sandwich which we shared. Our waiter, who I believe is a co-owner really took the time to explain to us the items on the menu and of course the wine. We also had an opportunity to talk to him which is something we try to do, to learn more about the experience of those who live and work in Italy. He was very friendly and willing to share since we were there very early and they were not busy. There is an incredible wine list which is located on a smart phone. We returned on Sunday, but unfortunately we didn't have a reservation and they were full. We will be back to Vigevano and we will be sure not to miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful wine bar again.

My family and I made a special trip to Vigevano from Milan just to come here for lunch. It's a small menu but everything is expertly cooked! The best meal I've had in Italy

I've been here a couple of times already and I can't stress enough, I love this restaurant! The location is superb. The menu is just perfect. The stuff is really caring and dedicated. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to get married Dal Capitano. Grazie !! saremmo davvero felici di esaudire il desiderio ....allora ci teniamo pronti !! .-)

Una tipologia di locale che in quel di Vigevano non c'era. Situato a pochi metri dalla Piazza Ducale questa enoteca, oltre alla canonica vendita di vino e birra in bottiglia per tutti i gusti e per tutte le tasche, da l'opportunità di effettuare una sorta di "ricarica della bottiglia" direttamente dalla botte! E nella botte il vino non è certo scadente (Traminer tra gli altri...). Possibilità di degustare il vino accompagnato da tarallini in modo da potersi orientare al meglio sulla scelta. Anche le birre proposte non sono niente male (consiglio quella nera). E per finire la competenza di Lorenza che ti aiuta nella scelta! Finalmente qualcosa di originale in quel di Vigevano!
