a great place indeed to eat: very nice and cozy location, professional staff, fast service provided to customer, Cecco the owner and his daughters are very lovable people, stunning quality of food and delicatessen cooked with the traditional taste from the surrounded territory, and as a plus a huge winery with hundreds of different red wines from Lombardia/Piemonte area. overall opinion: first class degree well deserved!

Very good atmosphere. Cute place. My Diavola was good, but my boyfriend's was very very salty from all the prociutto. Still really like overall experience. The birramisu was a little bit weird, but okay.

We love their pizza (My husband comes from the South of Italy and he's very particular about his pizza, still he had to admit they make a very good one!). They are very nice and friendly. We got there very early because we needed to have dinner and head to the airport before 7.30 pm and they were very helpful. My 6 yo daughter got a bit scared by an advertisement that was shown on a little tv screen that wasn't even close to our table but someone from the staff overheard her comment and came immediately to change the channel to something more adequate to a young child. You rarely see that much sensitivity in a restaurant. Thank you!

This is a very traditional place that you only find out if you check on trip advisor unless you know the area.Waiters are fast and attentive even during lunch break when it might be more busy..Food was great i took a simple Penna Arrabbiata spicy and juicy enough followed by a traditional Meat Bollito with some potatoes on the side.Very good!Wine water and coffee for a great lunch price.Will be back for sure when i'll be around the area!

Head to the area behind the railway station for the best of regional tucker. There are all the goose specialities especially the salame di di duja, the fat-wrapped delicacy that is served with succulent fresh figs. We tried one rissoto made with goose meat, another with creamy cheese and freshly ground green peppercorns. sometimes one can tire of goose, so we had the porcini alla Milanese, breaded wild mushrooms that are sauteed delicately. save some room for a slice of gorgonzola before advancing to the home-made desserts.... chestnut cake for me and a terrific cake of pears and mascarpone cheese for her. We like this place. Its pleasant, simple decorations of stocks and bank-notes from the 1930s and 40s have a peculiar beauty of their own.

The menu is very short but includes all the specialties of the area. We went with a child, it does not really look like a "children place" but the staff took great care of her making sure the food was perfect for a little one's taste. It was a little family reunion so we took our time and they never rushed us. Dishes were all very good, lovely presentation, lovely wine (they have a very interesting list divided by region). The place is small, definitely need a reservation.

My wife and I had a very good start to the night ... We were staying in the hotel and we're looking forward to a long enjoyable evening of good time and goose. We started by enjoying a beautiful shared antipasto of mixed goose meats and pate after a complimentary Spanish jamon plate. We had a lovely bottle of Barbera d'Asti as recommended by owner Davide (who worked the room by himself tonight ... six other diners were in the hotel restaurant)Then we had nice primi of tortelli with goose and a reduced sauce which tasted good but the filling was a bit dry. Also had a risotto with goose salami, wine and beans which was wonderful. At this stage Davide took our order for a main course of goose confit and then disappeared outside for twenty minutes leaving us with an empty wine bottle and empty water bottle. Our shared main course arrived by the kitchen hand .. I had no cutlery and our my wine and water glass were still empty. I would have loved another bottle of wine but unfortunately when Davide finally came back after twenty minutes, our meal was finished. He asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee without even noticing we had no drinks for all this time and I t was too late to even mention it.It was a sad ending to a promising start.

Mi sono recato solo in questo posto per consumare un aperitivo. Pur gravitando allâesterno nessuno dei ragazzi mi ha chiesto se volessi sedermi. Entro allâinterno, chiedo al signore dietro al bancone se potevo sedermi nei posti davanti a lui. Mi risponde che dovevo accomodarmi. Mi seggo ad un tavolo nei pressi dellâingresso ma dopo 15 minuti, nonostante il viavai di camerieri che entrava ed usciva, nessuno mi ha consideraro minimamente. In silenzio mi sono alzato e sono andato al locale successivo.

I've been here a couple of times already and I can't stress enough, I love this restaurant! The location is superb. The menu is just perfect. The stuff is really caring and dedicated. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to get married Dal Capitano. Grazie !! saremmo davvero felici di esaudire il desiderio ....allora ci teniamo pronti !! .-)
