Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Padua, Province of Padua, Italy. Known as Padova in Italian, Padua may be the oldest city in northern Italy, if you believe the claims of its 12th-century BC founding by Trojans. It certainly has history, including its famous university (one of Europe’s oldest, from 1222), the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 950,000-square-foot elliptical square, is thought to be Europe’s second-biggest.

I visited La Vigna while in Padova on business 4 different times. Every time the food was absolutely exceptional, and the price is just right. I had the pizza, the gnocci, and other various pasta dishes. Each time I was greeted by the owner with greetings and smiles. On my 4th visit, they were so friendly, I was helping them translate their menu to English, and was given a complementary bottle of wine to drink with my dinner. If you are looking for truly authentic Italian cuisine to go with great hospitality, this is your place! I am taking my wife to Italy in May, and we are making a point to stay in Padova. I cannot wait to share this experience with her!

We ordered 3 pizzas, there was no one inside the restaurant and only half the tables were occupied. We waited 55 minutes, at 50 I went and asked about this and that other diners who came in after us had been served 2 courses, a lady (waitress) picked up the order receipt, waved it in my face and said âprontoâ! Well not so pronto really! They arrived 5 minutes later, unfortunately all had soggy bottoms and only mine had a tasty topping! We were all starving and after waiting 55 minutes had a limited amount of time to eat them. Had we been more fluent in Italian we would have sent them back and been far less English (polite!). They had the audacity to charge us â¬2 each for a service charge, there was no service that deserved a payment! There was a table of ladies who had arrived before us and were served after us, they complained too & were told that the restaurant was busy, it really wasnât. On our way out I told the âladyâ that I would be giving a negative review and she smirked and said âGrazieâ! Disgraceful! I would rate this as less than 1 but cannot.

Pinsa is the best place to taste the traditional Italian homemade pizza in Padova. Our pizza, focacce, panzerotti and pinse are made using excellent local ingredients. We get the flour from a local mill, Molino Rachello. Our mozzarella is made by a local
During our visit to Padova we stumbled into Pinsa, and it became a great experience. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home from the beginning. All of us had pizza, and all of them tasted delicious. Large portions at -very- moderate prices. This place is highly recommended, and da capos are guaranteed!

This small trattoria was in the neighborhood of our B&B. The service affable and friendly and, while the menu is limited, I thoroughly enjoyed a very delicious pork dish.

While Coco is away from the tourist cities, if you happen to find yourself in Padova, Italy, around lunchtime like I did, I can highly recommend. 100% full with the local, regular crowd. Service was fast and attentive for such a crowd. The grilled tuna steak was perfectly cook, nice size for lunch, plus a side of grilled veg went well together. Can only imagine how much fun this place would be in the evening when it's a music club. About 230 kilometers east of Milano or 50 west of Venice.

Pizzeria per asporto
I can't say that I ever ate tastier pizza than Idea's pizzas or even will do. They nailed italian traditional pizza and for a low price. I more than recommand this place to have pizza, even at a daily rate. I even can't recommand a singular pizza, all what they do is just perfect.

Came to Italy for a week and went around to major cities (Rome, Florence, Venice) and stayed in Padua for 2 nights. Went looking for restaurants, and found this hidden gem very close to our hotel. The food is absolutely amazing! Of course, Italian food is 100x better than American food, but Pizzeria da Vannia has the best pizza ever! The pizzas are cheesy, freshly made, thin, and delicious. Depending on your appetite, one pizza can be eaten alone or shared (I had to share). The staff is very friendly and kind and always working hard. The place is also very busy, which I can understand considering its food is so amazing. It was so good, we went there again for our last night in Italy! What a great way to end our trip.
