Highly recommend for excellent service, excellent food, great location in the hills with views and lovely decor. Not the first time I've been here and certainly won't be the last.

We found the service to again be so pleasant and helpful. When trying to decide which of the many local wines to select, I was shown several bottles with explanations of all. There was no end of the patience shown, despite the fact all I ordered was a glass of wine. It is a popular spot for the locals and crowded around 7pm, so clearly, it has been discovered!

We've eaten here a number of times and it just seems to get better. The setting is lovely, the decor is tasteful and the ambience second to none. The food is excellent (try the risotto) and Marianne's desserts are partially responsible for the diet I now have to endure on return from our holiday!

Nice and Romantic Restaurant in the heart of the Euganean Hills with a terrace looking at Val Pianzio.
Nice terrace overlooking the valley. Family run restaurant with good home made pasta dishes. Friendly staff. We had to go inside due to a thunderstorm but the owner was so kind to keep us outside until the last moment.Dear Erwin ,Thank you for your visit! I well remember that night , it was equally nice to be able to dine on the terrace and pleasantly to the last ! See you soon!

We were informed about this restaurant by our hotel manager. it is hidden in the spectacular landscape of the Eugenian hills. the food was tasty, obviously authentic, not expensive and good prepared. There were, however, predominantly tourists, just 2 Italian couples were eating dinner. a very old Wisteria on the entrance, makes the impression of this nice restaurant complete. Good service, no WiFi however..

The restaurant is "hidden" in a small side road near Abano and Montegrotto the two main spa area near Padova, you definitely to have a car and a GPS or be an "insider" to reach it. Nevertheless the search is worth the effort. The restaurant is quite large and very well furnished. The staff is definitely helpful, smiling, attentive and ready to advise. The menu is more or less divided half/half in meat and seafood dishes and it features some old classics like "polenta e schie" together with new and more modern proposals all of them quite interesting. The strong point, never the less , is the choice of wines. The list is definitely long and also features some good bottles coming from the near by Colli Euganei. One antipasto and either one primo piatto or secondo piatto with half a bottle of a good wine and dessert will take the final bill to about 40⬠per person, definitely not too expensive and anyway coherent to the good quality of the over all experience. Enjoy! And in case you have a little bit...gone too far in tasting the wines...no worries, in the same building there is Hotel Diana! Get a room and sleep on your dinner!

The setting is lovely, the dining rooms lovely , the waiters happy , professional and helpful. BUT , THE FOOD DOES NOT MATCH THE PLACE !The pasta dishes were bland and tasteless . The stuffed zucchini flowers with porcini ricotta flavourless , the steak tartar machine blended and boring. The Branzino was dry , overcooked and tasteless. My friend did not eat it after two bites and the waiter did not ask her what was wrong , she is too polite to complain , but in the car going home she did. The grilled vegetables had been grilled where the fish had been , so the melanzane was fish flavoured , not good , not good. This restaurant needs a good cook , a new chef , someone with standards good enough to match the dining room presentation. There were also only about twenty diners here on a saturday night , when those that were not closed for vacation were fully booked out. What does that tell you. I just think it was a shame ....

Stylish and elegant, the restaurant is located at the center of a large garden with colorful flower beds, olive trees, green lawns and a terrace with incomparable views. You can have dinner outside under cool pergolas or inside in the cozy and bright room
There are many more of the little out of the way places in Italy than one would ever find in the USA, especially with such fine dining but after a number of single lane roads getting there just from the Radisson Blu Galzignano Terme, we arrived just as they opened on the day before the start of the Easter holiday weekend. We knew we were early but we had an early flight scheduled out the next day, so we arrived at 7pm and ordered the degustation menu of four courses. But they served what I thought was an amuse bouche first of parmesan, a piece of ham quiche, and green olives; but then that was also followed by some white prosciutto (basically fat) on a small piece of toast. I believe then, the actual 4 course menu started with some salami and regular prosciutto as the appetizer/antipasti, but then there was another dish of purple potatoes with asparagus which was so tasty but we were starting to fill up when we realized that the next dish was the pasta dish/primi platti of ribbon thin tagliatelle of nettles in green with a white meat sauce. Even though we swore to not eat it all to try and save room for the rest, we gobbled this down entirely. The main dish was duck served with a recipe that was over 500 years old but we could only eat half of what was on our plates in order to save a little room for dessert, which was a hazelnut/almond tart with hazelnut ice cream. My goodness, it was all so good and the helpings weren't necessarily American sized portions but there was just too much and all for 50⬠per person. Wow. I had to use my limited Italian and French as the wait staff might have one person fluent in English but that was fine as it added to the entire environment. How better to get out of your comfort zone than to use some guesswork to figure out your next dish? We'll have to go again!
