Croquettes, a potato omelette filled with salad, empanada, a yummy desert, 2 tap beers, a bottle of wine and a couple cups of liquor for less than 30â¬. Everything totally tasty. One of my favourite restaurants ever! I want to come back!!! Besides you can have a wine or beer outside, at the village main square. Utterly lovely.

Traditional Galician food.
It may well be that there was once a lovely view from this location but what is certainly most memorable about Bellavista is its cuisine. This family-owned and managed restaurant plays host to local farmers as well as to business people and tourists. Our family of four found this gem of a restaurant nestled in the picturesque town of Allariz in the northern province of Galicia. Located in unpretentious surroundings we got the most pleasant surprise when the meal arrived. Each platter was a veritable treat to the eyes as well as to the palate. Servings were as generous as the service from the two or three friendly yet efficient waiters who somehow managed to keep their customers happy in spite of a full house. We started off with razor clams and langostines on the plancha ...simply prepared with salt, pepper, parsley and generous helpings of virgin olive oil. We later learned that simplicity and fresh ingredients are the very essence of Galician cooking. No elaborate sauces here to mask the true flavours of the exquisite seafood for which the region is renowned.A spectacular seafood paella followed adorned with lobsters, octopus, baby squids, prawns and clams...all aptly accompanied by a delightful local vino. For us, this gastronomic extravaganza was a true celebration as fresh seafood cooked to perfection is as hard to find as a needle in a haystack. We were so impressed by the splendid meal that we returned on two other occasions, only to be further tantalized. It's true that in Spanish, Bellavista means beautiful view, but what this unassuming restaurant lacks in views, it surely makes up with its bella comida!

A Micalla is not, properly saying, a restaurant. It wine bar-shop where you can taste some of the most exquisit wines from the Rias Baixas region of Galicia. From Ribeiro, to Albariño or Monterrey, you will find here some of the finest and rarest bottles around. The owner Maria will help you choose the wine that will fit the most your tastes among her vast cellar. Maria knows a lot about what she sells and she keeps a close relationship with many regional wine makers, especially from small and unknown properties. That allows her to offer little marvels that you won't be able to find anywhere else. Recently they have added regional beer and regional gin to list so she can do also the most perfect gin tonics around. On the foodie side, because wine is always at best when it has some food around, A Micalla offers a short selection of local tapas, mainly cold meats and cheeses, always keeping the philosophy of using regional products. It is not a fancy place, it is not a place to go with small children, it is a place to come with your loved one, your best friends or close family and enjoy a nice evening around some glasses, either inside or outside in the nice setting of the Plaça do Councelo in Allariz. Once you have come a few times and have tried a few wines, you won't resist the urge to buy some of these lovely bottles and keep them at home, just for the sake of remembering the good moments spend at A Micalla.

The Taberna is in the lovely old town centre and has a lively bar to the front. We could hardly get in the door to check on the availability of tables in recent days. Easter Sunday proved a little less frantic than the preceding evenings. As early birds, we secured a table for two and ordered lamb (Cordeiro de Allariz). The tasty dish was enhanced by our first experience of a good bottle of Rivera Sacra (Abadia da Cova) red wine. Service was pleasant and efficient, and good value.

Restaurant and TaperÃa in the historic center of Allariz. Our specialty is grilled beef and fish.
Go to this restaurant if you are looking for a nice, design restaurant where the food is excellent, the wine superb and the waiter incredibly professional and friendly. The restaurant is on the first floor. We ordered sardines (12) for just over 5 euro and then the fish of the day (1.5 kg). It was superbly cooked and so tasty. As desert we had the cheese cake which was very light and tasteful. At the end we also received a free alcohol made of local spices.I definitely recommend this restaurant and it was definitely not expensive for what we got.

Although this small establishment is located in the labyrinth of narrow alleys that make up the centre of Allariz, finding it won´t be difficult. Food is basically salads, regional delicatessen, tapas and this type of snack. Young and casual atmosphere. Ideal if you are looking for a light meal. Cheap prices.

What a delightful restaurant in Allariz. A must if you're passing through the food is fabulous but the owners are so friendly they were happy to accommodate 5 tired cyclists with open arms and great food. I definitely recommend it to all travelers passing through
