I never write reviews as i work in the same industry and been running restaurants for a few years in spain, italy and england.Always find sneaky when people leave a restaurant and write a review without telling the issues to the manager or servant... in this occasion i did and the manager told me to write 5 bad reviews if i wanted.1- unorganized table plan for tables booked, long wait2- no explanation or knowledge of menu from the floor staff.3- long wait to order drinks4- food order taken rushed5- long wait for main meal6- main meals at diferent times, my partner already finished when i got my pasta7- nobody checked if we wanted more drinks or if we are happy with the meal8- rushing us out as soon as we finish our meals9- when the bill came £53 for scampi.10- when waitress was "trying" to explain us the bill at least 5 memvers of staff shouted at her for wasting time with us ( they didn't know that i'm fluent in italian)11- we had to queue 10 minutes to pay the bill.12- the manager shouted to my partner when she tried to get an explanation.People maybe recommend this place as is new and the "place to go" but seriously if you are on holiday you respect your family and your pocket avoid this place... will ruin one night of that holiday that you've been looking forward the whole year.â¬35 expent pp just for a main and a soft drink with all the issues above.... really!?

We went with 8 people to this restaurant. It's a bit hidden but still in the city's center. We ordered some starters, seafood as well as sausage/bacon etc. Everything tasted very good. Also the main course was excellent for everyone. We ordered pasta with "arselle and bottarga", ravioli with "ragu" and some meat with fries. Everyone was very satisfied. The red and white wine of the house were both very tasty. Afterwards we had some mirto and limoncello. We will definitely come back for more!

Looking for a modern restaurant we found Ta Matete. A very special place. The dishes were the best we had during our trip in Sardinia. We loved the âfish soupâ with its fresh fish and its spicy edge. The risotto was pure class: the right bite and its cheese and a hint of thyme. The steak was so tender, first class. Looking for great food this is the place to visit.

"Strenght only lies in unity" , with this thought in mind we've managed to add a tasting of various traditional specialties to our sardinian craft shop. It is therefore possible to enjoy our delicacies comfortably sitting at the tables or on one of our be

We were recommended this restaurant by a local and were not let down. Although busy the waiters made a table for us after 20 minutes or so. Service and food were very good and reasonably priced. Pizza is the specialty, very good. We ate outside if any irritation it was the amount of mosquitoes but they are every where in Sardegna, remember your repellent!

It was a very quiet night, our waitress was lovely and the chef came out to talk. The food was fresh and lots of fish options. Our mussel soup was a great starter but the main course was a bit ordinary. Should have been better.

Excellent food and fair pricing. We visited with a sailing boat and needed a warm dinner. Sestante was a perfect place for that. Good service, good seafood and nice atmosphere with a lot of locals as well, at least that was my feeling. We made a reservation by phone in advance which was probably a good idea. You can walk from the marina. It's about 30-40 minute hike along the beach. Can recommend and would go again.

Ristorante con cucina sia di carne che di pesce, ottimi primi di pasta fresca.. tanta scelta anche per gli amanti del crudo di mare ..
If you are looking for a quiet, romantic meal, where the food is gorgeous, service is great, nice quaint and absolutely gorgeous little place is beautiful. It's more upscale than your "eat until you drop, quantity over quality place", in which case it's not the place you are looking for. However, if you're willing to pay the extra bit and have a gorgeous three course meal with excellent wine, and dessert to die for, this is it. Myself and my boyfriend, both restaurant managers in London were stunned by the place, made our whole day, not to mention the best dining experience since we've arrived. Bloody well done

A great restaurant serving some of the best fish our family have had in Sardinia. It was also the first time weâve seen sea anemone on a restaurant menu. Two of our group tried it, with the conclusion that itâs an acquired taste! Definitely worth a visit if youâre in Oristano and want fresh fish.

We made a reservation the day before. We arrived at 7:30 and the room was quickly full.We selected the tasting menu and shared six starters: Shark in a tomato sauce, Salmon, an unknown fish under red torpedo onions with sesame seeds and soy sauce, baked scallops, marinated whitefish and a mild fish with mushrooms, baked in a flaky crust. All were great, that could have been a dinner. The Primi was the local pasta, fregula, with mussels, clams and squid. It was very well prepared, with a lot of seafood. And a Secondi of grilled Spada, which was exceptional. We ended with a dessert of flan and coffee.Service was excellent, with a good pace and not a lot of time between courses. They have a good wine list with a selection of local wines at reasonable prices. We found a nice white for about 25 euro. This was one of the best meals of our trip.
