We were told by staff at our hotel that this restaurant was good but we were initially put off by the unexciting exterior. However, we were absolutely delighted by what we experienced inside this wonderful place. It is like dining at a friend's house. There is no choice of food but who cares, when Tore knows much better than his customers what are the best things to eat in Sardinia? There was an exciting and fascinating spread of taste treats, some of which were hard to identify but all were scrumptious. We ended up with a choice of liqueurs and a party atmosphere which encouraged chatting with those at other tables. A great night to remember. Big thanks to Tore and his lovely wife.

Su barrocu is a typical sardinia farm, su barrocu is located a few kilometres form the the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, It is the family-run hotel, Maurizio is the chef and the general manager. Su barroccu is restaurant and bed and breakfast: 7 roo
we went two times there, the first was ok, and we were interested in tasting the baby pork, my kids from 9 to 13 yo, were charge 25 euro! the cover was 30 ,and they gave me a "big discount!!!" plus, the kids don't drink wine, they ate the antipasto, usually you get one plate of pork for two, we ated two plates for three....so total 150 euro for my family, the first plate of pork served by the cook himself was mainly the worst parts , a pig leg, plenty of fat....you don't feed a family with fat and skin.....very disappointing, not recommended for tourists. at the end the cook and his family were enjoying the best part of the pig, with a great wine.....we payed for it....La prima volta avete chiesto 2 menu ed un piatto di pasta per i ragazzi.

Our CookingOur cooking is typically Sardinian, very simple and light. Our homemade ravioli with Sardinian cheese and wild herbs are among the most-requested dishes.La fregola alla campidanese (a sort of pasta served with meat or fish) is also very apprecia
We booked at short notice and were accommodated, despite being the only customers. The lack of other patrons could have made it uncomfortable, but in fact it was perfect. The food was fresh, tasty and served in nice combinations. The wine was also plentiful and delicious. Our hosts were happy to help when we asked what some of the more unusual veggies were. The service was super-friendly without ever being intrusive. We left full, happy and with good information on which loacal beaches to visit.Probably my favourite dining experience in our week in Sardinia.Thank you!

As I'm writing this we've been waiting for 30m to even have our drinks. No sign of food and already saw 2 tables abandoning the restaurant out of not getting their orders. It's excruciating to see completely incapable staff work like this... After around 45m of waiting our food did come and it was ok, overpriced for it was - supermarket spaghetti. It is a shame, wonderful location, amazing view, an almost private beach. Not worth the gas used to stop and restart the car.

Great sea views ,traditional restaurant featuring a dining terrace and lovely dining room with tall windows and high ceilings.Unfortunately nothing else was good!Service was very poor ,waitress seemed iritated that customers were interrupting her day ! Fantastic location and prices are very good. However we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes and waited for an hour and 15 minutes....the restaurant was not full and there were certainly enough staff on hand. When I complained I was told that the waitress had told me that Pizzas always take longer, I replied that I was not told this however it appeared that I was not believed and the owner(he) was quite rude. When I went to pay the bill the lady owner apologised and offered me a liquer which I declined and then took 10% off the bill so a small gesture. Shame her husband was not more gracious after all the customer is always right.

Having driven 100 miles down the west coast of Sardinia i was looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch- this restaurant was on a bend in the road facing an amzing view of the ocean. The place was packed with local families and the menu was only in Italian- always good signs! I chose melon and prosciutto for antipasti- four large slices of juicy melon and plenty of prosciutto. Next fish ravioli in a brown nutty butter sauce- amazing! To finish the meal a panna cotta and coffee- total bill 28 euros- fantastic value for a really tasty well cooked meal. Friendly and well timed service with a smile.

Late evening visit for a couple of fish dishes. Really great mussels, awesome shrimp and some really excellent fries. Great location and on a clear night a brilliant sunset view. Drinks well priced but salad a little expensive for what it was. The only issue, which was no fault of the restaurant, was the mosquitoes! I'd take your own citronella candle if you're sitting on the terrace!Well worth a visit Thank you for your review, and for appreciating both our dishes and our structure. We are sorry that the mosquitoes have bothered you, we usually place several "zampironi" that most often manage to keep them away. See you soon with the hope of deserving the 5 star.
