El paisaje desde el restaurante es de pelÃcula, la atención fue buena... Esperábamos una carta más amplia para el almuerzo, no un menú fijo y con poca variedad. El clima dentro del restaurante, puede ser otro à rea de mejora..

Meats to the disk, restaurant, grill, great music and exellent atention
On our way to Villa La Angostura on Christmas Day, where most restaurants were closed, we literally stumbled upon Manzano a las Brasas. There were four tables occupied served by two young waiters. We ordered two provoletta for starters and for main entrees: lamb goulash, veal stew (my first choice was wild boar, but they had ran out of it), bife de chorizo and ojo de bife, two typical Argentine steaks. All dishes were well done, natural, tasty. The spetzel in the goulash were a bit overcooked, but the sauce delicious. The service was warm, but slow. I noticed another reviewer wrote a similar comment; I attributed it to the holiday. The chef came to our table to inquire about our satisfaction, nice touch!

Excellent meat. Welcoming, pleasant staff. Despite it being very busy by the time we left they were happy to manage my poor Spanish. Plentiful portions. You need to be hungry to eat here. Appears to have a wide selection of wine. I noted the staff dealt well with young children at an adjoining table. Prices reasonable for area. Would definitely revisit. My wife (vegetarian) enjoyed her pasta. As it is mainly a parilla not the ideal spot for vegetarians but at least they had a few vegetarian dishes which many Argentinian restaurants struggled with.

La Caballeriza is a restaurant chain with branches in Buenos Aires (and São Paulo). But this one is small and simple/rustic.The principle is the same...traditional argentinean menu with focus on parrilla. The plates are well served.Other options for those who do not want meat. There is no chance for mistake.

Pioneros te sorprende con los mejores corderos Patagonicos en su asador ! Parrilla de excelencia en Villa La Angostura
We settled in on a rainy day for a nice meal. After waiting ten minutes to talk with the waiter, we ordered wine and a medium-rare Lomo. They came back to say ""no limo." Seriously, in a Parrilla? Forty minutes went by, and our substitute steak came back Cold and well-done. We sent it back, and they put us at the end of the line in the kitchen as a new order, meaning another long wait. The meat was terrible, chewy and only half of it was edible, the other half was all fat and gristle and served on cold plates. The chef obviously give us a bad piece of meat for sending it back. With our pricy bottle of wine we were given two little glasses you find in pizzerias. We had to ask for the large red wine glasses everyone else was given. Staff were polite, but the attitude was they didn't give a crap. Two other tables sent back their meat while we were there. The Villa has many other options, so I advise skipping this disaster.

We had an excellent meal here. The service was very attentive and the waitress had good English which helped as our Spanish is limited. The food was tasty, the bread basket was a small fresh warm loaf, our entrees was tasty empanadas and the steaks we had for our mains were perfectly cooked. An excellent meal.
