After a long day of touring the ruins in Pompeii, we agreed to find a nice restaurant near our hotel. We settled into Night Butterflies based on good reviews. However, by 9:30, ear piercing Italian karaoke music started up at an audible level that prevented thinking yet alone talking. What an odd horrible experience.

Our landlady suggested to eat at this restaurant in the âzona ospidalieriâ of Napels. The name suggests a little place but itâs not; itâs a very nice, big, cozy place with a big parking lot. You just give your keys to one of the kind valets and they take care of the rest. So far so good, then, you are warmly welcomed by the owner Salvatore, who kindly and patiently takes time to explain the menu and shows you around through his excellent wine cellar. The food is an experience and so is the wine! One must be a meat lover; the variety of meats went beyond my imagination. Excellent choice of starters, and desserts and dessert wines you can only dream of. Good service and your car awaits you when you go home. A (hidden) gem in Napels. Surprised at first by ambiance in the restaurant, it doesn't really look like a burger place. Good service, you're welcomed with a glass of Prosecco... definitely sounds like a fancy restaurant. But when the burgers came, we understood it wasn't a joke, this place is really for burgers. Very tasty, good choice of homemade breads, meat, and cheese. Plates are beautiful, ingredients are fresh and quality. Wide variety of beers, everything was perfect. Ottimo !

This is an update to my previous review, Convivium has updated their website to include many more pictures of this beautiful Agriturismo. They have also placed a bigger sign outside which makes it easier to find! Check it out their website and this great restaurant!

I have come here on several occasions and the food is excellent and is always a good meal. It is right by the Pompei Central station and the center of town .The steaks are excellent and high quality meats. I have had their pizza which is also amazingly scrumptious. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice on not so hot days to be outside with a little breeze.Service is excellent. I would say it is one of the best restaurants in Pompei I have eaten at.So if you are in the area come to this restaurant if you want a good meal .Dear Melissa,thanks for choosing us. The place is strategically located in front of the beach (even if our room were facing the opposite side). The place is clean and neat, the personnel super friendly and helpful and the complementary breakfast served in the bar close to the pier is simply great. on the minus side the mattress is simply too hard and the room lack of some items that could make the place truly amazing Thank you so much...waiting to see you again! :)

Unique restaurant in the heart of Frattamaggiore, a small town just outside Naples. The restaurant offers a very cozy atmosphere and the selection of wines is amazing. The menu offers a selection of pasta and meats out of the ordinary that you can find in Naples or any other cities in Italy. The quality is supreme!!The owner of the restaurant, Ivan, gives a good explanation of the different meats which you can find on the menu' and you can see the passion he gives in every meal.
