We went here because it was a few metres from the hotel and because it had good reviews from Trip Advisor. Good decision! We were cheerfully welcomed despite not having a booking. Chose the bruschetta as a starter- generous serving and superb- and the seafood risotto, fried mixed seafood and caprese salad for mains. I'm not a great seafood fan as a rule but being on an island, it seemed rude not to. It was all delicious, served in generous portions and accompanied with the usual basket of deliciously crunchy on the outside / chewy inside bread. We washed it all down with a litre of house white for just 8 euros- it was a bit rough to start but go better and better with food. Only disappointment is that we weren't offered dessert. We finished our meal quite late and the staff were looking fidgety, probably keen to see us leave. Overall superb value at 50 euro for two.

Lovely family-run restaurant. Delicious fresh seafood & pasta, great service and a lovely port-side setting. It was perfect! Definitely hunt this one out, as you need to walk past a few first. Trust me It's worth it. Grazie Mille Luciana E Genarro!

A bit off the beaten path, we were the only non-Italians dining here...generally a good sign. The food was fantastic and abundant. Try the octopus appetizer, and the mussels with eggplant was truly sensational. Eggplant just melted in my mouth. If I return to Ischia Aenaria will be on my dining list.
