Surrounded by the vineyards, Cantine Pietratorcia offers a selection of traditional recipes like the coniglio all´ischitana, tender rabbit meat cooked in copper pans, Gragnano pastas with fresh fish, juicy home-grown vegetables, all accompanied by the win
It may be slightly off the beaten track...but both the bus ride and the food are well worth the trip... the pasta was really amazing..flavourful and the seasoning just right.... so was the cuttlefish main ....I would probably revoke t coming here for lunch or an early dinner to take advantage of the view..

On top of a mountain in the center of the island of Ischia, going there is already a pleasure (try to do it around sunset).Ischia's specialities are excellent (coniglio, pappardelle) as well as the zuppa in a bread container.Staff is very kind and attentive.Price is reasonable, you should book in advance

Great Italian cafe/pizzeria. We can't speak much Italian, but were able to get by - we ate here several times during our week in Ischia. Probably the best Cappuccino I had on the island too. Lots of varieties of pizza, friendly staff.

The pizzas are really tasty and large. We ate at the restaurant one time and then came back to get takeaway pizzas twice. I definitely recommend takeaway if you are planning to eat pizza because the all prices are lower and the service is really quick. They add 2 euros per person extra to your bill if you eat in. The service at the restaurant was ok. They seemed to prefer local customers at the takeout desk though. Little smile wouldn't hurt.

This is an outstanding restaurant serving authentic Italian food, absolutely amazing pizzas, full of flavour main dishes such as pasta, melanzane parmigiana and the most spectacular of all: the traditional Ischian rabbit. The service is friendly and very efficient, practically no waiting times, pizza is cooked to order (not reheated), the wine list is very good and we actually enjoyed the house wine. The rabbit dish needs to be order one day in advance and itâs enough for 2 people. The pizzas are huge and the antipasti platter very delicious (the ham melts in your mouth). I recommend this place wholeheartedly, itâs a must while in Ischia. We dined here 3 times and Iâm sure that I recognised some returning customers. Itâs a constant flux of people, which says a lot about how appreciated this restaurant is by everyone.

RISTORANTE deus si trova a picco sul mare che alterna tra carne e pesce con cucina di prodotti locali
This was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life and started my love of wines from ischia. My sister and I went and both of our meals were incredibly outstanding. When I go back to Italy I will definitely spend two days at least and I know I will hit this restaurant twice minimum. I had the seafood ravioli and I feel like that was the first time I ever had ravioli the way it was meant to be. Amazing and worth the trip plus the view is outstanding.Grazie mille per la sua bellissima recensione, la aspettiamo con molto piacere

We decided to visit this authentic taverna based on the great reviews it has on Trip Advisor. Having checked it's location during the day, as it's a little tucked away, we booked to have dinner there at 8.00pm. The restaurant was only about a third full when we arrived, but that's not unusual as most people eat much later in Italy. The first disappointment was the bread, which was ordinary. Rightly or wrongly, I do consider the bread you're given to be a bit of a litmus test for the rest of the meal. I had prosciutto and melon to start, which was nice, but not the best I'd had during the week and I had sea bass for main. My partner had caprese to start and a fish dish for main. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. By the time we had finished our mains, the restaurant was starting to fill up with large local parties, I think there were three tables of around eight people each and so we were ignored for a long time, despite mentioning that we would quite like 'dolce'. There were two or three choices of dessert on the menu, but by the time we finally attracted someone's attention and reiterated that we'd like dessert we weren't given a choice and they just brought us the house zeppole. These are basically home made donuts, which were nice, but not what we wanted. Again, it took a while for us to get the bill, as all the staff were busy with the bigger tables. Overall, the prices were reasonable and the food is good, but not great. I would probably go back again, but feel it's more of a lunch venue than one for dinner.

My wife (who is an authentic Neopolitan) and I stopped for lunch this afternoon to try out this hidden gem of a restaurant. We were immediately greeted by the warm hospitality of the owner Mario who found us a splendid table on the terrace. We started with excellent tomatoe bruschetta and some of the best buffalo mozzarella that I have ever tasted! Next we tried two pasta dishes seafood gnocchi with which were made in house and pasta with peas and prosciutto ... Generous portions and outstanding taste! We finished with traditional Neapolitan cakes! caprese and pastiera both excellent! We also had the delight of meeting chef Vincenzo who was kind enough to share some of his vast cooking techniques! Certainly a restaurant you must visit away from the numerous tourist traps that infest the more popular locations. Thank you Mario and Vincenzo for the wonderful experience! Vi faremo sapere come sono uscite le torte!

Went to this restaurant for a rabbit and were not disappointed. The service is excellent, telling you all the details of menu, which by the way is not on paper. Price is slightly high, but the food is truly excellent. Opposite the restaurant are the wine cellars, and they are fascinating.

The best bruschetta I ever had! Service was phenomenal. Family owned and operated. This place is a jewel. It is a hike to get up there probably 45 minutes, but is so worth-it. You have an amazing breathtaking view. You have two view points one through the restaurant and the second one next to the restaurant building. Best food, best service best view! Wear comfortable hiking shoes.
