Visited this pizzeria 4 years ago with local friends and was thrilled to eat here again with my visit in August. I can't say enough about the friendly and thoughtful owners Vincenzo and Carmella. Their hospitality cannot be surpassed. My husband even got to help prepare this wonderful appetizer with baked pizza bread, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. This was followed by margherita pizza and the Carmella pizza. The Carmella has fresh mushrooms, prosciutto and I think pepper flakes. Every ingredient is the freshest as Vincenzo proudly displayed. The mozzarella was made just earlier in the day. Next we had delicious fresh peaches and the biggest figs I have ever seen. Vincenzo then made a Nutello dessert pizza. The nutello was all melted and sprinkled with hazelnuts on top of a thin chewy crust. Yum! What an ending! The pizzeria sits on a hill and if there's room, sit outdoors with a vast view of the city. This family owned and delightful restaurant is worth going the extra mile if you are visiting Naples and really want to eat the BEST pizza!

Il Tris is by far the best pizza in the area. They make their crust well done and crispy. None of the "soft in the center" pizzas most of the other pizzerias in this region serve up.Service was quick & efficient.Prices are very reasonable.

Visited here tonight and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Waitress very pleasant and helped with the menu which was quite difficult to understand despite having an English section. Food was lovely, wine even better â¬12 euros for a bottle of speciality red wine. Disappointing that you had to pay for the bread baskets even when we didnât order them. Complimentary bread would have been a nice touch! Would go back though as food quality food.

The pizza we had here was absolutely amazing and very authentic. The place is situated down a local Italian street with hustle and bustle of the busy locals nearby and it is only a small shop, but it does have tables indoors & out. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly throughout. If you love pizza and donât want to pay silly prices then this definitely is the place to go. thanks for the nice review and for the time that has dedicated us. We are waiting for another holiday in Italy and another good pizza from Enzo & Bruno.

Traditional Neapolitan food. Made with love.
We called in here one evening, based on other reviews. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a ravioli. The owner was really welcoming, taking our order to the kitchen with a song which echoed with the fab acoustics in the building. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious - the best pizza we had so far according to our 15 year old. The ravioli was equally tasty and a generous portion. The only minor disappointment was that there were no desserts available, despite the menu suggesting this would usually be an option. There is a gelateria and also a bakery a couple of doors down so we had to move on for our 2nd course.Overall lovely food, reasonable prices and a friendly welcome.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to walk there which was, admittedly, a trek up a steep hill to get there. When we arrived we were given a very warm weclome and shown to our table on the terrace with a view that was jaw-dropping in its scope and beauty that gives you a view of vesuvius and castellemare bay. perfect. We asked for the house wine, red, which was home made, smooth and so delicious. The antipasti was a food-gasm by itself with so much to sample and we chose a pasta main course which left us speechless and mopping the plates of any remaining sauce.Dessert was again home made with all fresh ingredients accompanied by a perfect digestive drink. The hospitality was absolutely and unexpectedly warm and friendly, and they allow you to have your meal in peace and at leisure, and the final cost was easily acceptable.I cannot believe that anyone would critisize this place for sheer quality and quantity of everything, and i have to say -there is nothing oily or greasy here at all whatsoever. We ate here twice already and we will be back again before our weeks holiday is finished. Outstanding restaurant in everyway. Well done

I love pizza, I've eaten pizza in dozens of countries and different places throughout Italy during my stay there... This place was so amazing I literally ate there all 3 nights I stayed in the city. I wish they delivered to my house now.I also wish I would have grabbed one of there cool shirts that all the employees have. They make pizzas right in the front of the building and pretty much everyone in the area goes to this place so you know its good. I waited for 2 hours once on the weekend with issue for this amazing pizza, I'd wait even longer if I had to.

IL TRIFOGLIO was born in 1995 from the desire of three boys to engage with the world of catering and today , after 20 years of experience , is an established company in the field of gastronomy bell . Located in Pimonte , on a hill in the heart of the Latt
Two of us plus our new best friends rocked up to Il Trifoglio, ready to have fun. We were all celebrating the last few hours of a wonderful holiday. Antonio was ready for us and showed us his meat. He dry-ages his Scottona beef for 40 days, which allows his chef to cook it properly rare, without it being bloody. I can't remember many of the details of what everybody else ate - I was was just concentrating on my 1kg+ slab of beautiful beef. We had a pretty decent red to help it along, but they also had a surprisingly good craft beer on offer. R and Y both enjoyed their starters and mains and although the restaurant was quite quiet, we had a memorable evening.

The food is the highlight of this restaurant. We had the antipasti to start local top quality mozzarella, , the range of meats served and the quantity was large and very, very tasty. They then served amazing folded pizza called Panuzzo, which is a special pizza from part of the Naples province - it was stuffed full of pepperoni (I mean full of meat, which makes a refreshing change), mozzarella and tomato sauce and baked in a wood oven, of course! The meal was a little pricey, at over 10 Euros per pizza and the owner was a little defensive about this, but none the less gave us a small discount, the menu that night was limited and the end of dinner liqueurs were served in plastic shot glasses- therefore, there are some areas for improvement. The quality of the food and an attentive members of staff made it an excellent dining experience.
