Giorgio, his daughter Marika and their staff offer high quality food and very personal service on their cosy terrace overlooking Maronti. Products from their own garden and wines from the wineyards owned by the family make that place very special in Ischia.As we stay usually in Parco Smeraldo Terme down on the beach, we really appriciate the chauffeurservice in their traditional Ischia-Taxi as a nice experience by itself.We usually come here in October, at the end of the season, when a good evening restaurant is quite difficult to find, so we are extremly happy with this place and highly recommand.

Probably the best pizza we've ever had - we'd absolutely recommend pizza 'la completa' with fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula & fresh parmesan. Start with a fresh seafood appetizer & wash it down with the house red (which was defintely better than a lot of house wines) & you'll be very satisfied! The service is great & the view from up on the hillside makes for a pretty perfect dinner. If you've got a scooter to drive up here, you'll be very pleased about your restaurant choice : )

Trusted Tripadvisor on this one.Very close to harbor.Great pizza, very nice staff lady - bare minimum english, but 120% heart, smiles and good will.Good views from the outside tables.A nice start before the beach and the castle.

We found this place on the first night we spent in Naples purely by accident. It was about 9pm and we'd just checked in to the hotel and gone for a walk to find something to eat when we stumbled across the take away part of Mondo Pizzeria. What a find! Both me and my wife are true pizza lovers and we've ate pizza all over Italy and in at least ten different pizzerias in Naples, including L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele, and we both agree this is the best. We don't go for all the fancy toppings we eat pizza as itâs supposed to be 'Marinara' with the odd Margarita thrown in, although whenever we have a margarita we always wonder why we didnât stick to Marinara. The Marinara at Mondo Pizzeria is in my top 5 favourite foods EVER and whenever pizza crops up in a conversation with either me or my wife we both think of Mondo Pizzeria in Naples. We did have a full sit down meal in the restaurant during are time in Naples, and everything was very nice, but the Marinara is to die for!! Which is probably why we ate here 4 times during our week stay.

Great pizza and very reasonable prices. The place is very popular with locals, which is evidence of the quality of the pizza! The bus stops right next to the pizzeria so easy to get to as well with local transport.

A local hangout that has excellent pizza but we were disappointed with the rest of the food. Nice people - looks like a family operation with Nona at the cash register. Parking is nonexistent so we parked in the port parking lot and walked. They don't really start serving until 7:30 but most locals come in at 8:00 or 8:30. Real wood fired brick oven and they serve a wonderful flat bread, hot out of the oven when you sit down to order.

The âsales pitchâ was warm and inviting, the primi piatti were very tasty (note they do gluten-free pasta) but the service really let them down. After eating the first course we were up for more food. But no one came back to our table after clearing the plates (which took a while) so eventually we just asked for the bill and left, slightly hungry.

Great Italian cafe/pizzeria. We can't speak much Italian, but were able to get by - we ate here several times during our week in Ischia. Probably the best Cappuccino I had on the island too. Lots of varieties of pizza, friendly staff.

The pappardelle with fu ghi porcini was delicious, I would have just cooked a minute less the pasta!The appetizers were very good, bruschette and pumpkin flowers.Nice ambient as well.

Top choice if you would like to feel thoroughly spoiled. The presentation of the food was beautiful but more importantly it was also delicious. We just ordered a primo (occhi di lupo con crema di zucchine), but greatly appreciated the homemade bread selection and sweet treat at the end we were also served. Most of all, though, we were bowled over by the service - wonderfully attentive and kind staff. Extra special thanks to the maitre who ingeniously fashioned an ice-pack by vacuum-packing ice for us to take back to our hotel as I had swollen ankle. What more can I say? We hope to come on holiday to Ischia again just to return here!
