I was diagnosed coeliac in September so it's nice to know there is a place I can eat out when I go home to Kerry. I first visited in December and remember saying in my facebook review that I would've licked the plate after such a fine meal if I was at home and not in public. I visited again in March and had a sandwich with side salads. While ordering I chose one side salad and the waitress kept waiting and had to remind me that that particular order came with more than one side so I got more than just a gluten free sandwich. When I first started to go gluten free I discovered that with safe food in the shops the portions got smaller and the prices got bigger. In the gluten free kitchen co. you get the same size portions as any café or restaurant at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much for your fantastic review. We are always so pleased when our concept is so well understood, licked plates are welcome as we know how tasty the food is, did you know Georina Campbell secretly ate here and gave us a raving review awarding us with a plaque for 2014 recommended places to eat in Ireland. As a coeliac we know how difficult it is to eat out so @ TGFKC we pride ourselves in the fact that our kitchen is free from wheat and gluten products making it safe for allergy sufferers offering all the taste without the worry. We look forward to having you dine with us again and we do plan to extend our business and create a chain of quality and affordable cafés. Many thanks TGFKC

I have visited this absolute gem twice in the past week. Never been there before. What an amazing experience. The facility itself is beautiful. Really relaxing colours with a lovely soft atmosphere. But the food is sublime. Simply, yet eloquent. The food combinations are perfect. The presentation is tidy and clean. Two dishes I had were the chicken and bacon caesar salad and the pulled ham with sourdough bread. Really fresh with scrumptious flavours. I will visit this cafe every week from now on. Well done to all involved.

We enjoyed a quite superb meal in Johnny Franks Bar, part of the Meadowlands Hotel in Tralee. We were there as an extended family and were quite a big party. We were still seated immediately and served very promptly by friendly, professional, cheerful staff.The meal was really excellent. I had a gorgeous gourmet burger with onion rings and fries and it was delicious. Others had the likes of salads, carbonara and Pad Thai. Everyone was really satisfied by the fare and there was a wide array of choice.Prices were not cheap but fair and you certainly got your moneys worth.All in all a superb meal, we all thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed our neal and evening here.

Had breakfast - pancakes with raspberry and maple sauce- the best Iâve ever had by a mile! Great cappacino. Lovely setting, friendly, helpful efficient staff. Definitely recommend this place.
