Had late lunch so opted for fish and chips and wife had cold beef salad. Served fast and fresh and large serving. The beetroot was delicious, must be homegrown! Kearan & Tait were our hosts and gave us excellent professional attention. Could'nt go away without sampling cake so tried home made apple tart and cream. Like my mother made!!Will be back. Parking convenient near Church.

Shocking, my husband ordered a steak sandwich, we had to wait over 35 minutes we finaly got our food. the panini/roll was burned black and the steak wasn't medium rare, but well done and the fries cold. The waitress asked us if everything was okay as she cleared the table, we told her about the steak, she made NO reply. We will not be returning.

I have eaten at the Grand Hotel over the last few years and the food is definitely worse. The helpings are still large but the quality has diminished. Very expensive for average food.
Cafe Ed located on the corner of Patrickâs st Fermoy is open 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday. Serving breakfast, lunch and Weekend brunch. Take outs also available
Passing through Fermoy on a Saturday and spotted Eds which looked very inviting. We only had coffees and cake on this occasion but will definitely return for lunch. We were served by all friendly and efficient staff especially Annemarie. Looking forward to a return visit.
Great food and atmosphere in this newly renovated bar by the riverside in Fermoy! Very friendly staff, really varied food menu and lots of choice of music in the evenings. Definitely the place to be, whether living locally or just visiting!

Definitely enjoyed our meal ... two starters, mains and desserts for â¬42 incredible value for nice food. Nothing special and small enough portions but still filling and tasty. Disappointing frozen chips. Pet hate.... cold plates so chips were actually cold. Tiny salad. Will certainly return tho. Big tip... go later in the evening... we went in twice early and had to leave due to noisy kids seemingly allowed to do as they please. Itâs not MacDonaldâs.... parents paying no attention. Not fault of restaurant but ruins enjoyment for serious diners.

Great restaurant in a town that doesn't have many decent places to eat! Not on the main street so it would be great to let tourists know that it is there.
Having dined twice now at the newly opened Forge Gastropub in Fermoy, I am happy to say that these guys have got it right when it comes to producing excellent, tasty, visually appealing food delivered at very reasonable prices and with excellent cheerful and energetic service. The restaurant and pub are under new management and it shows. Friendly service and excellent food; easy to say, but not always easy to deliver consistently. This young team seems to be getting both right so far! Long may it continue.

While heading to Cork for weekend with family and friends stopped off for evening meal .With no table previously booked was not expecting to get a table. However a table was available ,at first glance the Ambience of the Bistro was lovely ,service was excellent, and food really good .I had a burger with usual trimmings which was really good, chips in a bucket on plate not too my liking, but overall good.Would I go back , most definitely.
