Recently 4 of us had dinner in this fabulous Japanese restaurant... The interior wasnât what I was expecting for a Japanese style restaurant however it was very in keeping with Michelin...The staff were just brilliant explained all the dishes and made several recommendations. The food was full of flavours. Overall the service was prompt. The food was great. The experience was Japanese. I would certainly go again.

Really enjoyed our evening here. Staff are good, not intrusive but attentive. I arrived late due to funeral traffic and they kindly gave us more of the very delicious crackers. They really are yummy! We all ordered. There was something 'no' in each order plus we ordered different levels of spice. All arrived correctly. We didn't order desserts but had teas and coffees. Definitely be back. Decor not the best but we were there for an early evening catchup so we didn't care.

Was previously called Starvast but has undergone renovations and a name change recently
Have already been back for a second visit.Loved the open work screens used to provide privacy between tables.Staff were so friendly & welcoming, happy to answer any questions regarding the menu.Food was delicious. Sauces served to enhance the dish and not overwhelm. Portions large enough to feel full but not stuffed.Looking forward to my next visit to try another option.

out side the door said if I not mistake eur23 for 3 set lunch, and i paid eur59 for two people, she not even asking me if I want the receipts ,the waiters was very nice, starter very good, im asking noodle soup but I got fried noodles instead, and the noodle to sweet not nice at all, and the ice cream not nice at all, Hello,Sorry to hear you were disappointed with your meal. We have a set menu for â¬23.90 which is great value for a three course meal especially when we do not decrease the portion sizes. The noodle soup isn't on the set menu. We use great quality products and provide excellent customer service here at Koto. Sorry the noodles and ice cream weren't to your taste. Should you wish to discuss this with me, I am available on 021 4274172 or by email at [email protected] thanks,Jeff

We went to this restraunt for Sunday lunch after reading reviews but very disappointed..as restaurant and server was not at all welcoming ..basantha .his name..does not wanted to work...zero customer services..I ve ever seen in my life.. worthless food..above all server needs lots of training on customer service..will never visit again
Chinese and European dishes, take-away and sit down. Friendly service and comfortable surroundings.
Great food .my family enjoyed the food you can tell that they have pride in what they do. Over the last 10 years the quality of chinease food has dropped. Great to see that blue palace have the return those standards. All the best .

Despite having closed their restaurant recently, the Golden Panda are (thank goodness) still dishing out delciousness to the hungry people of Blarney and beyond. They are always happy to take an order, even at last minute (i.e. technically fifteen minutes but sometimes even ten minutes before closing time) and are equally prepared to accommodate requests to modify the dishes in some way-a far cry from the nearby Tung Sing who will not take even the smallest of orders after 10.30pm sharp and for whom a side of half rice and half chips is considered too much of a challenge. In the countless times I have gotten takeout here these past couple of years, I cannot remember them ever getting the order wrong-again, unlike the Tung Sing who once served me a special chow mein WITHOUT the special (i.e. without the omelette on top). Staff are polite and efficient and most are perfectly friendly. I hate to repeat myself but this is more than I say for some of the waitress working at the Tung Sing whose attitude problem is extremely offputting. The dishes are not the cheapest but the portions are large and always delicious (see below for my recommendations). They have also udergone extensive renovation work so pop in to take a look next time instead of having them deliver!

Possibly just the difference in Chinese food in Ireland, but I found this place expensive and the food very poor. Possibly the worst Chinese I have tasted anywhere in the world. The only upside is that the staff were friendly. Hate to give really poor reviews but cannot find anything good to say about the food except that there were mountains of it. Sorry.

Totally different from Chinese food in Australia, it was lovely. Dishes usually are served with fried rice or chips, but we asked for rice separately which was fine. Really tasty meal, one dish in particular- prawns with szechuan sauce - delicious!! If I'm ever in Blarney again, I'll be reserving a table.
