New York style gourmet pizza, pasta, salads and burgers, also including traditional favourites like Irish Stew and Fish and Chips. All our food is prepared fresh on the premises and our ingredients locally sourced
There are cheaper and more expensive pizza types you can order, the person I was eating with got the more expensive pizza and I ordered the less expensive with vegan cheese instead of regular cheese since I am allergic to dairy. I told the waitress that I was allergic when I ordered. After taking a few bites of the pizza I could tell that the chef had scraped the dairy cheese off of a pre made pizza base and just put vegan cheese on top of it. The person I ate with had got a pizza with a different base, it looked fresher and not from frozen. Overall the place was nice, but since I had ordered with my allergies in mind I expected a completely non dairy meal especially since vegan cheese was an option. Later on I was ill, so I don't think I'll be going back soon.

1st off the burgers were great and the staff were excellent. Charging â¬10 for a burger and extra for the sides is a bit much though

I cannot give Greenes enough stars. Everything here redefined expectations. The service was not on - professional and attentive, but not stuffy. The ambiance was beautiful. There's a small waterfall right outside one window, and a beautiful, small garden outside the other window. And the food. Wow, the food was magnificent. It all started with the bread and butter. 3 different kinds of homemade artisanal bread, served with deliciously creamy butter perched on a stone. The presentation was perfect - creative, elegant, simple. And that was just the bread.I ordered the pork belly stater and the roasted hake & scallops entree. Before these dishes arrived, I was served three petite amuse bouches: a duck liver paté with wasabi seeds and cherry, a warm and juicy beef ball, and a crisp. Each was incredibly tasty. The pork belly with daikon radish and apple was melt in my mouth scrumptious. Little balls of puffed pork crackling provided a delightful and unexpected crunch. Between my started and main, I was ordered with another surprise: a lychee and lime foam palate cleanser. And mission accomplished. My palate was both cleansed and tickled. What a wonderful way to cut through the fat of my pork belly and prepare me for my seafood entree. My entree did not disappoint. Super fresh hake and scallops paired with a light cream sauce and smoked sausage. Delicious.I left with my belly feeling incredible happy and full.

We were in this lovely place last Saturday for tapas. The atmosphere was perfect: lovely music, cozy place, very good food ( I recommend the Portobello mushroom and the Mini burger), good selection of wine. The stuff was very kind and efficient. Perfect place if you are looking for a different night out.

We stopped in here because we could take the dog with us to eat out in the garden. Lovely little outdoor spot, very welcoming and a couple of haughty black cats keeping an eye on the customers! Our waitress was lovely; we had a Chicken Tikka Wrap and aGreek Style Salad - both were good value.

Over the years Bull McCabe's on the Airport Road, Cork has built an enviable reputation for the quality of its good, wholesome food served in a warm traditional atmosphere. We count ourselves particularly lucky to have some of the finest foods on our door
I found this pub/restaurant totally by accident. I had been travelling, with my two dogs, in a camper van along Cork's lovely coastline when I ran out of gas - including the spare - on a Saturday evening! A response to a frantic call for help directed me to Cork Gas, which is on Forge Hill Road, near Cork Airport, so I made my way there on Sunday so that I wouldn't be searching for it during rush hour on Monday morning. When I spotted the Bull McCabe's across the junction on the Cork airport road I decided to go there for dinner as I couldn't cook in the camper without gas. I also asked if it was possible that I could park up in their car park for the night so that I could get my gas first thing Monday. Let me be clear - this pub/restaurant does not allow camper vans to park there, as I discovered the following morning. But, because I was a woman driving solo, with two dogs, they allowed me to stay the night, gratis and graciously. I'm vegetarian and asked if I could have a veggie pizza and take it out to the van to eat. I got the best pizza I think I have ever eaten in my life - and possibly the biggest too! It was piled high with all sorts of colourful and delicious toppings, and, at just 11 euro, was so big that I couldn't eat breakfast or lunch the following day. And it was piping hot... Earlier, clients as well as staff had responded to my query as to where I could take the dogs for a good run with advice and directions to Blackrock Castle. It was good advice. The following morning, one of the extremely kind staff brought me out the black coffee (all I could manage after the pizza) so that I could drink it outside with my dogs - on leads, of course - beside me. They say food prepared with love and kindness tastes better. I suspect that the cooking skill that went into preparing that pizza would have tasted delicious no matter what - but the kindness I received there certainly added a very special flavour to it all. Again, I repeat, this pub does not allow camper vans to stay over: they were simply responding with kindness to a bit of an emergency. But, if you're driving a car, and you want delicious food, served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, I couldn't recommend this pub more highly. Thanks, Bull McCabes - you do Cork proud!

We enjoyed a first-class breakfast in Orchids Restaurant during our recent stay in Hayfield Manor Hotel. The buffet was both well presented and well stocked in a spacious room ajoining the dining room. The cooked breakfast was perfect and when our toast came to the table it was warm and the butter was nice and soft so what more could you ask for?The service was excellent. Efficient and friendly and yet unobtrusive. Full marks
