Reviews on Asian food in Tramore, Province of Munster, Ireland. Tramore (/trəˈmoʊr/; Irish: Trá Mhór, meaning "big strand/beach") is a seaside town in County Waterford on the southeast coast of Ireland. A small fishing village until the arrival of the railway in 1853, the town has continually expanded since. Initially the town flourished as a tourist destination and latterly it has developed as a seaside satellite town of Waterford City, which is 13 km to the north. Waterford Airport is located about 6 km northeast.

Top class! Lovely airy and pleasant dining conditions, greeted with an attentive, warm & friendly welcome. Food tasty and well presented (I had the Goa Curry a house special) Sweet and full spices with a warm after taste that will leave any Indian connoisseur with a smile! (Photo below of my onion bhaji starter - yum yum)

Peppers Restaurant's pedigree, enviable location and stunning interior design makes it one of Waterford Cities most finest Indian cuisine. Peppers is undoubtedly one of Southern Ireland's Best Indian Restaurants. All food sourced locally, all herbs ground
Ate here last night after not having been for many months and I don't know why we left it so long between visits. We had fish cakes and lamb kebabs to start followed by lamb Balti and lamb jalfrezi with steamed rice and garlic naan. Once again presentation was top notch, food was cooked to perfection and good portion sizes. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I overheard them on a number of occasions with other patrons, offering to get items that weren't on the menu. They totally go above and beyond. In my opinion it's the nicest Indian restaurant in Waterford without a shadow of a doubt and I look forward to coming back again.

I was delighted to have been treated to dinner at this restaurant, to be honest I didn't know it existed! It was in a nice, quiet, city centre location. It was welcoming and clean. A pretty good variety of quality Asian foods was served promptly with the correct balance of friendliness and professionalism. The Gyoza starter was delicious and set a high standard from the beginning. Main course was a delicious, a Kyoto Ramen mixture which was as plentiful as it was delicious. No pressure to buy drinks, tap water served and glasses topped up by the attentive staff. It won't be long until I revisit. Definitely well worth a go.

While staying in Waterford we travelled to Tramore to visit this restaurant. This was not our first time to visit Sunshine and we will visit in the future again. The portions are large and value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Anytime I visited this restaurant I never heard any customer complain. Therefore, I would not pay attention to some of these negative comments. The fact the delivery service is extremely busy just shows the food quality in my opinion. Give his place a visit if in Tramore.

I wasn't expecting a top notch Thai restaurant in Tramore but that's what we got. I had an excellent spicy Massaman curry with beef that hit all the flavour notes without drowning in spice. My wife had teriyaki beef which was also excellent. There was no faux eastern decor. It was definitely Irish Gastro Pub in style. The food was prepared by Thai chefs while the service was the best of Irish hospitality. An unusual combination but it worked. P.S. Irish craft beer goes well with Thai food. Who knew?
