We came to Ashes hotel after a long journey with a broken down bus.So we were quite exhausted and went to the pub in the house. We were very happy to read the menue, where we found a lot of things, that we knew. But we tried both some dishes, that were new to us and were happy.Good presentation, great taste, added by good beer. Fine place to stay!

Gregoryâs Garden in Castlegregory is a perfect. place to spend a relaxing summer evening. His wood-fired, sour dough based pizzas must be the best in Kerry. The ingredients are simple - in typical Neapolitan, Italian style - and the sour dough base gives the taste an extra kick. The atmosphere is also just right with good music filling the background all evening. When the sun is shining, and your pizza is cooking, there may not be a better place to be on the Dingle Peninsula. There is not too much happening food-wise outside of Dingle town, but Gregoryâs Garden is surely the only genuine rival to the townâs popular restaurants.

We hadn't been to Castlegregory for a few years and had forgotten how card-unfriendly it is. There is only one atm in the village and that's in the supermarket, which closes at 9pm. I had forgotten and also failed to notice the sign on the wall when we entered so had to go across the road to the pub and buy an extra round of drinks so I could get enough cash-back to pay. A bit embarrassing and it took the sheen off an otherwise enjoyable dinner.

We first discovered Tomasin's over 20 years ago, and it is a "must visit" for anyone visiting the area. Service was great, and I had some of the best wild salmon ever.

We have consistently been surprised at the quality of the food weâve eaten at small pubs and restaurants along the Atlantic Way. Spillanes was no exception. The menu was brilliant. Excellent options for the veggies and a wonderful choice of sea food. The range of beers was also impressive. And of course the customary excellent service from very friendly staff.

Beautiful food. Starter of Scallops and Black Pudding was amazing. The flavours! Main of Monkfish with sundried tomatoes, pine nuts and scallions was the tastiest thing I've eaten in a while. Others who had the Hake and Scampi raved about their meals. Only negative of the meal was the Eton Mess dessert. The meringue and cream were lovely but frozen fruit was used and let the meal down. Others who had the Creme Brulee described it as nice but as it was served in a deep cup, had too much custard and not enough caramelised topping to complement. I would recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover.
