Reviews on Fast Food food in Cork, Province of Munster, Ireland. Plan to cross many bridges when in Cork. Ireland's third-largest city began life as an island and now spans both banks of the River Lee, with watery channels running beneath some of its main thoroughfares. The best way to experience this hilly southern seaport is on foot, following the signposted walking tour past St. Finn Barre's Cathedral and the riverside quadrangle of University College up the hill to red and white Shandon Church. Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the city's talkative residents.

Bunsen's does one thing - American hamburgers, and they are the best at it.Traveling Ireland we often found hamburgers over cooked. According to the locals it was "the law" that all hamburgers had to be coked "well done". So they usually were. Unfortunately that usually made them taste bad. However, for some reason Bunsen's can give you a tastey, fresh burger cooked medium. What a difference! The meat is juicy and tender. If you love American hamburgers, this is the place to eat.

This place reminded me of when I lived in America and on fridays me and my girlfriend would go to the local diner during the 60s. It had a outstanding atmosphere and the staff were delightful and very patient. Great food.

First experience for me at Lennoxs, and had heard plenty about it being âthe best in Corkâ, and âan institutionâ, but for me it was an average chipper that seems to be riding on the name more than the quality. Donât get me wrong, the food wasnât horrible, but thatâs not the standard to aim for surely! Portion sizes were alright, Iâd say decent value for money - and the overall price paid for the meal was good too. We ordered their special double burger, cheese and onion pie, large chips, curry sauce and chicken nuggets (they donât do goujons for some reason) - and the price was little under â¬16. Overall, an average chipper, not the worst, and if your local, then itâll do Iâm sure. As a recent resident in the area, Iâll keep looking though.

While thereâs always a long queue, the staff are super efficient and friendly and the queue moves quickly. The pittas are all super. All requests (eg extra mayo, no onion) are accommodated and they make an effort to double check your order before you leave with you! 10/10

We stayed in the attached Travellodge Hotel and grabbed a quick bite in Rockin Joes before we went to a party. Lovely Burgers and chips but my God, this peanut butter shake I will dream of for a long time. You probably gain 10 Kilos just by smelling on it but its addictive and so damn good.
