Steeples café area is truly unique. Decorated with carefully selected, rescued pieces of salvage material from churches and places of worship that would have been left in storage yards unclaimed and unloved... Our food is organic and mostly vegetarian and
This unusual little restaurant is almost hidden away. Its directly across from Nenagh Castle..its Vegetarian...despite that it was packed with locals. The menu was large offering something for everyone...i had the one dish with fish....a wonderful prawn dressed in a creamy sauce on brown bread...it was simply gorgeous...The venue..is quirky and atmospheric...try it sometime..i was there for lunch but they do tapas at night i believe.

Visited today for a quick coffee before an appointment and couldnât see anything âsnack-ishâ at the cafe end of the store to accompany so I ventured back to the deli where I picked up one of the âNutshedâ peanut butter squares - clearly priced â¬3.50 on the box. I picked up two, one for me and one for my sister. On return she even commented on how expensive they were especially considering how small they are. I have a very similar food business myself (gluten/diary/sugar free treats) and I too agreed that they were almost â¬1 more expensive than my own for a smaller slice. Nonetheless, our coffees arrived (two regular cappuccinos - they didnât have soya milk which I first requested) and they were basically flat whites - no froth/foam at all or sprinkle of chocolate. We had the coffees and I put my peanut square in my bag to take with me as I wasnât hungry yet. All in all we were in the store 30mins MAX & thatâs being generous. When we paid we were charged â¬15.20! For two coffees & two peanut slices? Only realizing after I had left the store and no receipt given, I returned as I presumed we were obviously over charged and a staff member told me that VAT was added on to the squares when we sit down with it - no where is this indicated & I hadnât even eaten mine!? Bare in mind my sister ate hers from the plastic tub it came in so no plates were used that would need washing etc. The staff member said she would query the female owner - first asking me where I was from and for my name, to which I told her bore no relevancy. The owner sent the staff member back to tell me that yes they were â¬5 each per slice because we sat down. I told the staff member thatâs fine that we wouldnât ever be returning and she replied OK. This clearly happens often! Avoid, unless you want to be ripped off!

Ate lunch here recently. My husband had a toasted sandwich which was lovely but cost 10e. No chips with it, just a sandwich. I had the salmon with mash and veg. Child sized portions. Ordered extra mash to try fill me up. 2 cans of fizzy drink, 30e total. Felt robbed. Would definitely not eat dinner here again. Food is nice but WAY overpriced.

The Pantry Café is one of Nenagh's best known food emporiums established in 1992 by Gráinne Moylan. The Pantry Café has gained a high profile for selling fresh homemade food, including real hams, organic vegetables and salads, wholemeal bread and scones b
We went there to have breakfast on a Sunday because all the other places were closed. the place is a bit hard to locate for the first timers (located opposite to Kens). We ordered 2 'The Works.' which is a combo of bacon, sausage, eggs, pudding, potatoes, mushrooms and thyme. The breakfast was good and this place is recommended.
Had the pleasure of visiting on a short trip last year. Had a homemade sausage roll with a selection of salads from the deli fridge. Staff were very pleasant. Enjoyed a delicious iced bun and tea also. Homely feel.
