Stonebridge

Have been coming to the Stonebridge pretty regularly now since I moved back from the UK in the summer. Wow- it has the best food locally! All home cooked food! Have had a Sunday lunch- delicious. Have also had their soup on two occasions- they always have a selection. I had the Goulash on Sunday- it was insanely good and I'm fussy with soup. My mother said she went there today and had the chunky veg soup and couldn't get over how nice it was!! Everyone in Cahir needs to pay a visit as it's simply the best around!!

Myself and a friend stopped into Nourish Cafe late yesterday afternoon for a quick snack; I had a chicken and mushroom vol au vent with two nice sides of a pasta and a potato salad, and my friend had a delicious raspberry roulade - what made the experience memorable however was the wonderful Italian lady who took our order and brought it to us; she was quite possibly one of the loveliest waitresses I've encountered - she was warm, friendly, nothing was too much trouble, indeed she genuinely seemed interested in making our visit as nice as possible! All too many people ONLY post negative reviews about staff - people rarely comment when they've received exemplary service. This lady made a good experience great! Well done.
