Discover Restaurants offering the best Irish food in Carrigaline, Province of Munster, Ireland. Carrigaline (Irish: Carraig Uí Leighin, meaning "rock of Ó Leighin") is a commuter town and civil parish in County Cork, Ireland. It is about 14 km south of Cork city which can be reached by car in 25 minutes (along the R611, which passes through the town, and then the N28 Ringaskiddy–Cork road). Carrigaline has grown rapidly in recent years, from a village of a few hundred people into a thriving town, although many locals still refer to it as "the village". The town is one of the key gateways to West Cork, especially for those who arrive by ferry from France.

After trying a number of speciality steak houses across this fine country we actually found a really good one. We had the rib eye and it was perfectly cooked and the sides matched really well. Well worth a visit. If you are in Cobh and looking for a great steak this is the place to come.
Visited twice last weekend during a trip to Cork . Live music on both nights . Scapa Flo were particularly good . Friendly staff up for the craiche so a great night was had by all !

We are a local Pub and Restaurant in a beautiful country setting situated next door to Tracton woods. We pride ourselves on serving good drinks and focus on using quality local produce in all our dishes.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch a few days ago. Both our starters were excellent : the seafood soup had a Mediterranean feel and the black pudding tart had a deliciously crisp base. The roast lamb was perfectly cooked and it was accompanied by a generous portion of vegetables. The sticky toffee pudding was very tasty, if a bit short on toffee sauce. We would definitely return and we would recommend the restaurant to friends. The only minus point for us was that we remember the old cubicle layout of the restaurant some years ago and we missed that.
Mere words will never do justice to this wonderful café which is situated in the pretty village of Belgooly, a mere 5kms from Ireland's gourmet capital if Kinsale. I visited here several times during my recent 5 month trip to Ireland & I was seriously impressed with the ambience, the delicious locally sourced organic foods, the variety of teas etc..... I mostly ate breakfast here so didn't indulge in any of the tempting cakes but they all looked yummy indeed.....Staff here are both charming & efficient & of course really helpful. Prices are reasonable & portions generous......oh & did I tell you about the soda bread?? Well it's indescribably good.,,...Yip, I have nothing but good to say about the Farm Store Café......looking forward to going back next year........

The Workshop is a local family business run by brothers Aiden and David. Our menu is very simple, for breakfast we serve, Organic Porridge with fruit compote, French Toast and Bacon and Scrambled eggs and Bacon. Our Lunch menu consists of gourmet sandwich
My, son and is wife were home for a visit from Peru recently so on the way back from Kinsale we said we would drop into the Workshop for somethingto eat,but it was 4-45 and we did not realise they closed at 5 so all foofd was finished which was a pity so we decided to have coffee and cakes instead.the food menu looked great so it was a pity that we were late. This is a most pevculiar place with all the bric and brack being served with old silver teapots little teapots for peppermint tea etc.The cakes were superb all homemade id say they were so good that my son called again next day to buy some for a takeaway as we were to late again for food. The staff were so friendlywhich was a plus and service was excellenti certainly will be back to try their menu. This is a little gem in the wild Use your gps as its hard to explain the situation but its on the back road from Togher to the halfway its worth a visit

Walked into a very clean pub to have a late breakfast. The young man was very friendly and efficient. Nice English breakfast, well presented. A bucks group of about 20 guys came in, he had a quiet word with them and they left. Not long after the pub got quite busy with people watching the footy. We Aussies lost both games. Great venue, efficient staff.
Situated right on the Main Street in Carrigaline , this is a brand new coffee shop . The decor is fab , the staff great & most importantly the coffee is excellent , lovely range of tempting pastries too .

We were a party of four -my husband and I and my sister and husband visiting from Germany. When we visited the ladies toilets we were disgusted. There was toilet paper all over the floor. The taps were running. The toilets were blocked with toilet paper and the rest. Both toilets didn't flush. One of the toilet seats were on the floor. We had to use them unfortunately but we were disgusted, if you're paying money for drink/food then the facilities should be up to standard.

The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega â the grand dame in Corkâs Old Town, Irelandâs largest whiskey bar housed in one of the countries most beautiful bars. Food served 7 days a week â brunch & steaks a speciality! Enjoy our in-house cocktails in the beautif
As a return visitor my fondness for the Bodega is largely fuelled by nostalgia, for when it first opened in the 1990s it was well ahead of its time in combining sophistication and comfort with a large open plan layout in a beautiful refurbished building - a formula which has since been applied in numerous other locations. The Bodega has not lost its appeal, and upstairs provides a tasteful separate space for private functions.
