We stopped here based on the recommendation of Maurice at the Quayside B&B. Best advice we have received.Starting off with a Dingle whiskey and a Dick Mack's Amber Ale (both locally sourced) started this wonderful experience. Apps and local chowder elevated the results even more. Our local seafood dinners were so fresh and amazing.This is a first class restaurant that we strongly recommend.

We went for an early dinner and got an excellent tasting culinary meal.The room got busy and with only two servers they were run off their feet. After our mains we were asked about dessert which we promptly said yes. It took 30 minutes to get the menu another 20 for dessert. It was the first time in a long time we felt invisible.It took another 20 minutes for the bill after asking. It wasnât the servers fault, they understaffed. The food was excellent but our overall evening was spoiled by the experience. We are being generous with our rating but food was really good and the kitchen should not be blamed either. I hope they correct this for the future.

Dined here twice it was so nice whilst on our three night stay on the Dingle Peninsula. The service is excellent, we had a lovely friendly young red headed waitress. The food is very fresh, tasty and hearty. Both days I had fish and it was so fresh and beautifully cooked. My husband had chicken burger the first day which he enjoyed and a steak the second time which was he claimed the best steak he had in a long time. Highly recommend

We have been traveling in Ireland for a week now, and we continue to be pleasantly surprised and delighted by the wonderful dining experiences we have enjoyed. The Chart House was another great dining experience; one of the best! I had the pork belly and my wife had the chicken. We each had cauliflower and blue cheese soup. We both really enjoyed our dishes. They have a terrific selection of wines and we were able to get our favourite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.The service excellent! The Chart House is very deserving of its high Trip Advisor rating.

As you do, you try to find a place for brunch on a Sunday in Gastro town Dingle.Was it not for the added complication its the Sunday after the main sports event in Dingle " The Marathon" . We circled around Dingle we found the Pantri. There was a bit of queue as the place is compact shall we say, but on arrival we got offered a table outside .. Now Sundays weather was not like the day before, it was Irish Mist. For those that don't know what that is its mist that falls down as very fine rain (only in Ireland) We were not deterred, under the umbrella outside we went , my sons concluded we will not die of a bit of rain and we will be okay. ( 10 & 12 ,hardy men)The food is gorgeous, I had the black pudding on sour dough and my wife had the eggs Benedict.. the lads were happy with a hot chocolate. We were impressed with the food and the taste, we will be back for sure before the next marathon . PS. Dress for the weather and the occasion , its was worth sitting under the umbrella in the mist.. Do visit the pantri cafe..

My husband and I dined here tonight for our 5th wedding anniversary. It was just superb. My sister gave us the recommendation as she was here a year ago with raving reviews so we said weâd check it out. For light bites we got beautifully marinated olives and a take on pan y tomate..gorgeous fried bread with sweet tomatoes (my palette craves salty punches so the olives as an accompany counteracted that sweetness for me but on the other hand, my husband adored them). We ordered three tapas to start and kept a menu in the hopes of seeing other dishes fly past us to make our mind up on what else to get! First, were the smoked haddock croquetas, marvellously moorish bites of heaven! Next the lamb, which was supposed to be served with a courgette flower and basil. We picked it as we have courgette flowers growing ourselves and were excited to taste. Unfortunately they were all out of flowers but served a generous piece of lamb shoulder with what I believe to be a yogurt sauce (?) and pea purée as a substitute (nice substitute..no complaints)..the meat was succulent, perfectly cooked, melt in mouth! Lastly the carpaccio of octopus. I have to say, it was lovely and delicate albeit a little too sweet for my palette again (my husband lapped it up!)..but this is just a matter of personal taste, it was still excellent. After conferring with two waitresses (and after one of them kindly showed us multiple dishes on her way to other tables (thank you, it was wonderful to see each dish!!) we settled of more croquetas (chorizo and manchego..nice and savoury for my salted palette!) and the duck with picked yellow beets and whipped goats cheese...to die for! All washed down with some delicious vino tinto! (Temperature of the wine was perfect, thank you! Such an easy thing to do right, yet so many places fail). We had absolutely no room for desert but left happy hearted! It does look like you get little when it arrives especially if you are very hungry (we had researched and knew what to expect so no surprises) but you end up savouring every bite and slowly dissect the flavours (eating as it should be done!)..by the third tapa we were kind of full but wanting to experience more, we were stuffed after two more! No music in the restaurant just the welcoming buzz of chatter created by happy customers..I liked that! Well done to staff and chefs!I remember you both. Iâm the waitress that showed you the dishes as I passed. You should have mentioned it was your anniversary.....belated congratulations and many, many thanks for the wonderful review. By the way.....there should have been music playing but glad you enjoyed the absence.

A Seafood Only Restaurant, perfectly situated on the harbour in Dingle. Pretty fine, interesting, colourful, fun and fresh dining for a Shack !
The Rick Steves Guide said to book ahead for this small intimate restaurant. They only open if there is fresh fish to serve. We booked ahead and were not disappointed. I was concerned as I have shell fish allergies but there was plenty I could eat on the menu. Everything was meticulously prepared. I will include a copy of the handwritten menu for our evening.

This is a popular stop on the Sea Head Drive so don't be surprised if its really busy and there's a bit of a wait. Its worth it for the freshly prepared food.The open crab sandwich and the open smoked salmon sandwich are both superb and large enough to get you through the rest of the day even if you are exercising and building up an appetite.
