Family run coffee shop adjoining the Fort Conan Hotel. Serving breakfast, lunches. Tea,coffee and cakes.
The kids had waffles which they loved and they looked very good, although it wasnât real maple syrup. The coffee was also very good, but the full breakfast and the vegetarian breakfasts were dismal. Very greasy and poor quality. The mushrooms looked like they were from a can, the pudding was poor, the eggs were over cooked, and the potatoes were solid grease. The breakfast ratings on here seem to be mostly very good so maybe the chef had a bad day today but we were very disappointed.

Almost perfect dinner. Starters were were demolished. My main was superb of mussels and lobster ravioli. My partner had lasagne but felt the sauce was lacking in something. Our desserts of Apple pie and ice cream and chocolate fudge cake and ice cream were lovely. The staff were delightful and we certainly will be back.

Last Sunday was not my first visit here. Probably my 4th. Food is fresh and tasty. Their prawn starter is so yum. The beef was tender. Veg was freshAnd the bold bits, nice glass of wine very nice slice of chocolate cake. Top it off with very friendly staff, the owner always has a hello for every one which I think is often forgotten but very important and there is anothr lady "always" working there who is worth her weight in gold. She gets to every table.. somehow. And all the locals give her a hug showing how popular she is. We had a young guy serve us and I think she is teaching him as he was very polite and knew his job. We will be back again no doubt. Keep up the good work

As a family with young children staying for 10 days of holidays in Duncannon, Roches Bar was basicly the only place in town we could go for dinner besidesthe Off the Hook take away place. Food was ok, bit decoration with vegetablesmissing in the main courses from the menue. But they have specials everyday...which was very good..also with additional little salads at the side.I liked it there, specially with children. We were not the middle of attention (parents know what I mean). The only thing I missed a lot was some nice live music. We came to Ireland to enjoy the sights and sounds, but they offered it once a week andtoo late for the little ones. Just want to mention that they have a dart and pool corner, which is entertaining for families after dinner, cause the food comes very quick afterordering. At the weekends it is hard to get a table. They do no reservations, only put you on a list and ask you to come back 1.5 hours later.

Templars Inn is an historic pub restaurant in the scenic area of Hook Head in Co. Wexford. Specialising in fresh seafood dishes, we offer panoramic sea views while you tuck into our famous seafood chowder or locally caught crab claws.
Picture the scene. Itâs a gloriously sunny day in September. You have visited the Hook lighthouse, taken a stroll along the beach and now itâs time for lunch. Bowling along the country lanes you come across The Templarâs Inn. Result and there is even room in the car park. You sit on the wooden terrace, sipping a glass of rose until the waiter presents you with a platter of food that would t blush in the finest French restaurant. Sublime. And it was cheap as chips. I think I must have imagined it.

A lovely late morning breakfast in late August during the Bluegrass festival - sun was shining and people starting massing at the outdoor venue at the Strand Inn for the lunchtime session. Simple breakfast/brunch served by folks at the Strand Inn - good tea, toast and scones for grandmother and kids; good eggs, bacon and sausages for me - hearty food after a nice dip in the sea beforehand! Highly recommend grabbing a table outside the Strand Inn and getting some of their food or just drinks. Pleasant and friendly staff and always something to watch going by in Dunmore East.

The Lemon Tree Restaurant is located on the outskirts of the village, 400 meters from the harbour. We have four menus, a breakfast menu, a lunch menu and on Friday and Saturday nights we have a dinner menu available from 5pm to 9pm and a menu for children
We have had lunch at the Lemon Tree on a number of occasions and always enjoyed it. As much produce as possible is sourced locally ensuring freshness and low food miles. All suppliers of both veggies, meat and fish are posted for all to see. It is difficult to pick out a star item on the menu as it is all so good. Biggest problem is that having stinted on the calories with main course you might well blow it on one of the gorgeous desserts!Local beers and good coffee - full marks.
