We believe that in order to have good food it has to be fresh which is why we source our food from local suppliers wherever possible. Fernhillâs food is West Cork on a plate. The O Neill family and team at Fernhill have built up a reputation of great food
Took family for Sunday lunch at this wonderful establishment in Clon. Was like a step back in time with a very traditional dining room and well dressed and polite waiters- great.Excellent choices on menu and mainly focussed on traditional local fare.We really enjoyed the occasion and highly commend all for the quality and freshness of the food and extraordinary service.Highly recommended. You do pay for this level of service however.

Casey's Bar serves all the classics you would expect form a Traditional Irish Bar and also catering for the more adventurous with a wide range of salads and stir fry's including a range of daily specials. Be sure to keep an eye out for our themed nights w
Two pints of Murphy's to start. My wife consumes her roast lamb (well-done slices a bit dry ), but when she cannot polish off the full portion of mash, local authorities threaten to remove Irish from her identity. I venture into a platter of Clonakilty Blackpudding⢠fritters (from the the brand website: "...beef, oatmeal, onions, beef blood and a secret blend of spices.")The fritters, plus jet lag, put me in a coma.Excellent service at a reasonable price.

Spent three nights in Clonakilty staying at the An Sugan, although we have visited before we had not stayed until now. The B&b is really lovely, our room was a good size and clean, breakfast was good and varied. Ideal location in the high street, worth giving it a try.

Very central hotel, ideal if you were staying in Clon and wanted to walk around the town. We both had the chowder to start with, it was packed with plenty of fish, the consistency was nice & creamy, served with brown bread. For main I went for the fish & chips, my other half had the burger, both dishes were cooked just right and very good. This is a nice restaurant, reasonable priced with friendly staff and good food.Dear constantlylauraThank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback Im delighted that you enjoyed the meal and that the team took good care of you. This was nice to go to and sit and have a drink passing through in the afternoon. The regulars and the bar men were very nice and there was good chat at the bar itself. (There were some tourists of the 'gee-whizz' loud type from further west in this hemisphere who made it difficult to hear people sitting beside you but that is a hazard of these nice towns. But how kind of them to share their most intimate details with us.)

My Husband tried here for a cuppa first, and came home raving it. Knew it was in town, but had never gone there. The two of us popped in for a snack subsequently, and it was delicious beyond expectations. We both had bruchetta . Amazingly fresh. Tomatoes were so tasty, and appeared just prepared. The staff are so lovely. A beautiful young girl, so pleasant and friendly with a wonderful demeanour. Will now be a regular spot for us.Don't pass it by, pop in and see for yourself. We really enjoyed. Many thanks for your glowing review. Yes we prepare all the food at the time of ordering. On occasion it may take a little time but the food is guaranteed freshly prepared. We work as a team so the staff love their job, and it shows. Thanks for taking the time to review Molly's Café and Wine bar. We hope to see you again soon. Dena O'Donovan proprietor.

This is a lovely bar. The service is excellent and the food sublime. The menu is based on local ingredients. The seafood chowder is a particular favourite of my daughter and itâs more like a meal as itâs full of fish. My favourite is the chicken, pesto and sundried tomato sandwich on granary bread. They also have a nice wine list. This place is always full but the service is so good they will always accommodate youHi Sharon,Thank you so much for your excellent rating and very kind review. We are delighted you enjoyed your experience at Scannells and hope you join us for lunch again soon!
