Started serving food only 8 weeks ago.
After a short, but very stormy and rainy first day we were there for our first Dinner. Some days later we came again for Lunch on our last day.I love the mixture of design, that you find inside.Service is friendly and fast and the kitchen is good. We were very happy on both visits, my favourite for lunch on a walking day are the fresh soups.

We visited Milltown as a big family group to visit where my Grandad grew up, see the places he visited and to meet up with family. Larkinâs was a big part of this as my Grandads family home remains in the square and he worked at Larkinâs bakery. This was where we ended up most nights. Due to storm Brian some of us arrived late and the staff were very accommodating to us all ensuring we could all have a hot meal. We also made use of the upstairs room for our family reunion where they put us on a great spread. It is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere and fabulous staff who treated us like family! The food is proper home cooked, fresh and tasty. Thank you for making our week so fabulous we will definitely be back for a visit!

Beaufort Bar was within walking distance of our house which made it easy for us to go there for dinner several times during our 2 week stay. We were a group of 8, and so it was helpful to call ahead. They were always accommodating. It seems they are usually out of some of the specials, but there are plenty of wonderful things ot choose from and lots of plentiful sides. Limited wine selection, but plenty of beer! Thank you for making our meals so enjoyable! Great to read your party enjoyed their many visits and thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review it is very much appreciated by all of the team.

Looking for good pub food and a reasonable price. We recieved a friendly welcome and were pleased with the menu and prices. Service was good, My hake with vegetables and potatoes was good, and the bread pudding was deliciuos. My wife chose the small mixed grill, this was average, with the egg a little over fried.

Four of us had a beautiful meal here. Delicious food served hot and with a smile. Highly recommended.Hi John O,No one likes a miserable server and that is definitely what you would not get from us!! Our team are fantastic at what they do and always have a smile on their faces, not because they have too but because they enjoy what they do and working alongside so many interesting people on a daily basis.Thank you and see you again.Matt

After visiting Dunquin Harbour we drove back to Killarney, and on our way checked out some of the pubs for dinner. When we spotted the Anvil, we parked and were fortunate to get one of the last free spots inside. The pub was bustling with life and it was a really fun evening (and a great birthday if I might add!). The food was really good and the drinks were fantastic. The staff was really friendly and we couldn't be happier. We returned the next day for lunch, and my mother unfortunately didn't really like her salad, but the meat was really great there!
