Myself and a friend were visiting Iguazu for 2 days and had read about this place. As we were now obsessed with empanadas since our arrival to Argentina it seemed appropriate to give this place a go. Not only did we order 5 empanadas each but we ordered a large bottle of beer to share and sat out side enjoying both! Perfect cheap and cheerful meal. There is a large menu available and we just couldnât help but returning the day after to satisfy our cravings.. they are all freshly made and very reasonably priced. Whatâs not to love? Located inside Amerian Hotel, La Mision Restaurant combines argentinian food with argentinian products. Taste a wine from Mendoza or our regional menu. Next to the Hito Tres Fronteras.
Pacu fish dinner was out of this world. Tender, flavorful and beautifully presented. According to the menu, it is prepared with blue cheese. The dish comes with potato which is better than the Idaho potato that we have at âhomeâ. Great services, comfortable setting, full bar. In addition to pacu fish, I had patagonia bottle beer which is very good as well.

Its a really sophisticated restaurant with professional service. All the food was delicious, and the wine list was excellent too.Definitely THE PLACE to eat at in Iguassu. Highly recommended!

We ate there two nights, the food was exceptional, the wait staff attentive, and they appears to speak about every language save perhaps Swahili!?It is a fine dining restaurant with mid rage pricing. Some of the locals in Iguazu said it was the best restaurant in the entire city and based on our experience, I am not surprised.

The quirky owner was kind and friendly but the food was only fair with the portions the smallest of any restaurant we have visited during our 3 months of travel in Argentina. The prices were very high for Argentina and more on par with what you would expect to pay in Rome. While we were there the owner asked everyone for "the important 5 star review on TripAdvisor" Place was a disappointment.
