We are tired of the typical Argentine offerings of steak/pizza/pasta, so went to Sabrosura. The food was fantastic, the service was fast and attentive, the atmosphere is that of a nice restaurant without nice restaurant prices. We plan to go back there again in our 4 days in Mendoza. They did not have the classic ceviche, which we wanted to try, but we tried what was essentially a traditional Peruvian sampler plate (can't remember the name, it was the last main course on the menu) and a traditional Peruvian dessert with limone in the name. Highly recommend this place. Just be aware that they do not accept credit cards.

This is a hidden gem on a commercial street that does not appear entirely promising, but if you persevere to find it, you will be welcomed into a courtyard blooming with geraniums and full of locals who come to enjoy the Catalan-style paella. Cooked to perfection, the paella is constructed from flavorful seafood and chicken stock that serves as a lucious base for a variety of shellfish, chicken and pork. We shared a portion of paella and had a bottle of house wine... 1000 ARG.

We wanted a change from big, juicy steaks encountered in Buenos Aires. We thought the restaurant charming and very well run. The seafood was so good, we dinned here both times on our two nights in Mendoza. Our waiter and waitress spoke perfect English and were most welcoming.
