Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Mendoza. Known best for its wine, Mendoza is a bustling city to the east of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere. Although it draws its share of adventure travelers, lured by the climbing, skiing, hiking and rafting opportunities within an easy drive of downtown, the area’s more than 1,000 vineyards bring oenophiles in even greater numbers.

We wanted a change from big, juicy steaks encountered in Buenos Aires. We thought the restaurant charming and very well run. The seafood was so good, we dinned here both times on our two nights in Mendoza. Our waiter and waitress spoke perfect English and were most welcoming.

We loved our stay at Villa Mansa, the restaurant was exactly what we needed when we got home late and needed some great food. Their breakfasts were very good and they were so nice to always make sure we got what we needed even if it wasn't on the buffet. The people were so nice and I loved our room, the deck was perfect to go out on to watch the sunrise most every morning. I would go back here for sure!Joy,Thanks for your review. We are happy to read your stay and meals with as were at your level of expectations! Looking forward to receive you again in the future!Viviana, Manager

The atmosphere and environment of this restaurant was amazing. The waiters and staff were so sweet and helped us understand menu choices and wine choices - the portion sizes were HUGE. My husband and I could have easily shared a plate but because we love to eat, we indulged! They have a full bar, an incredible wine list, and their desserts are second to none. I enjoyed the length of time we were there. Americans tend to rush their meals and are in/out within 45 minutes to an hour - whereas, in Argentina - your dining experience is just that - an experience. Plan on staying at any restaurant, including this one, for at least 2 hours. highly recommend for price and atmosphere!Dear Chrissy, thank you so much for such detailed comment, we are glad you enjoyed our experience. Everyone should be able to take a few hours to enjoy a dinner ! Hope to see you soon,Regards,Dantesco

I came here because i had been before and looked forward to a similarly delicious meal and pleasant experience. The locale is calm and the garden beautiful. This was a Monday late lunch, a slow day. Letâs start with the service. No greeting. Eventually a menu. No explanation of what the various âmenu of the dayâ options are. I ask, he tells. I order. After a while the entree comes. No drink no bread. I ask for my wine, again. He says, right now. And proceeds to clean the next table. I ask again. He comes bearing g wine, but no bread. Entree is now getting cold. Bread comes, cold dry bread with cold dry hummus. The lasagna-like dish I ordered is ok, the potatoes undercooked. The dessert is underwhelming. So much for nostalgia.

We went at 9pm with our family of 6. First ones in the restaurant, but by the time we left at 11:30, the place was packed. Very limited Spanish in our group, but our waiter spoke excellent English. He was very attentive and helpful. The food was ok. For the best Italian restaurant in Mendoza, we expected more. Felt like everything about the restaurant was great, except the food. It was just ok.

Dear friends, Josefina Restó will be closed from January 15 to 29, 2018. See you on the way back! Health and good holidays!
Avenida Aristides being packed with drinkers at the many bars along the 'strip'. The Epinadas were excellent as was the (huge) pork fillet then peaches and ice cream. Friendly attentive staff and brisk service. Fabulous place to eat with every table taken by 9.00pm. Reservations essential as the place is very popular for obvious reasons. This is a must go to eatery if ever there was !Thanks you for your comment! We are waiting for you soon.

The restaurant is 30 minute drive away from the center. We didn´t have a reservation, but it was a weekday and we found a table available anyway. Is a famous place inside a shopping Mall (Palmares). Food was great and service was ok. The place is a bit noisy but you won´t regret going there to eat as the food is very good.Estimado flywithlola:Muchas gracias por sus palabras y venir a conocernos durante su visita en Mendoza.Los esperamos nuevamente, pronto.Saludos Cordiales
