The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.Service was very good, with a faster pace than we had in most Sardinian restaurants. The wine list had a good selection of local wines at reasonable prices. We started with Squid, lightly fried but served cold, and tossed with red onion marinated in vinegar and oil. We shared the Fregula, the local pasta â little pearls - with clams. Also very good. For entrees we ordered the perfectly Grilled Tuna and the Fried Squid, accompanied by grilled vegetables. We had walked/climbed a lot that day so we deserved a Cherry Sunday.

Outstanding Nuragic cuisine of the original people in the region, in a family style setting. Every dish was outstanding!

Behind the Archaeological Park "Genna Maria" In South Sardinia, in the countryside, completely built in local stone, we find the restaurant "Structures", where you can sample the local cuisine and tasty dishes of rewarded focacceria rural. cucina tipica r
They served us agriturismo-style 0km food. 25 EUR per person was fair. It's 2km outside of the nice Villanovaforru village. You get traditional sardinian starters like cold cuts, grilled vegetables, artichokes, onions, pecorino cheese and sardinian salsiccia.Ravioli stuffed with ricotta sheep cheese with tomato sauce and minced beef. Pork and beef tagliata with roasted potatoes on side. They also give you coffee and local sardinian sweets. What else?Restaurant is styled as rural and has a great view of the towns nearby. That makes it even better. Recommended!

It's an amazing trattoria, Luciana, the owner and the chef, has a huge heart she puts into her cooking and into her hospitality. We were desperately looking for a place to eat, everything we tried was closed, so we decided to try this place based on the reviews here. It was closed too, but Luciana, who lives above the restaurant, noticed us, and opened the trattoria only for us! She prepared us a local pasta, which was very tasty, and then served some local cookies for desert. We really felt at home hosted as family members and not guests.I would strongly recommend booking in advance so you'd have a chance to taste all the variety of the dishes the trattoria can offer

Siete stati bravissimi. Dispiace leggere certe recensioni, io ho marcato il vostro nome proprio perchè volevo recensirvi. Ho speso 65 euro e pensavo a tuttâaltro servizio e tuttâaltra qualità non conoscendovi. Davvero splendido capodanno, grazie!.

We stayed at the Hotel Crocus which is a cute small hotel just down the street from Lucignolo. Lucca, the owner of Lucignolo is a very pleasant guy to speak to while he is making pizzas all night. He spent time in a restaurant in Boulder, CO so his English is good. The restaurant has a great terrace. The menu is extensively loaded with pizzas we can only dream about it the US. There are some even more creative menu items that we saw leave the kitchen and will try on our next visit. Everything is fresh and Lucca fully understands the concept of service and consistency. Our visit to San Gravino would not have been the same without a Lucignolo visit or two.

The hotel offers dining, and if you look at the website, you'd think it is high-end dining, with well dressed patrons. What you get is a well heeled Maitre'd, with a mass service. Everyone is seated at approximately the same time, and you select from a set menu. The options are generally good, with something for fish, meat, and vegetarians. The issue is that everyone is served on-mass. Soup comes out in large pots and ladled out on serving tables and then servers run to all the tables who wanted soup. By the time we were served, some of our dishes were cold. My partner got her dish well before mine because we ordered different items. The vegetables were over-cooked. Salad and fruit had a comical side to it. The salad and fruit were brought out to a central table, and when the well-seasoned guests saw this, they immediately rush to that table to dig in. It looked like a flock of vultures who've just found carrion. If you aren't on the ball, by the time you go up to the table, the selection can be poor. It was weird trying to fight for space at the buffet table with a bunch of pushy seniors, some still in their bath robes from their spa treatments. I went too late for the salad, finding only tomatoes left, so I learned my lesson when the fruit came out. Still, not a pleasant way to spend a meal.Similar to my review of the hotel, dining here was very much like attending camp. We ate in the town of Sardara for the one remaining dinner and we were glad we did.

Eight of us had dinner at Su Mallaccioi after bicycling all day. The hardest part was waiting for the restaurant to open at 8:00. Tamara took pity on us and opened a little early, as we waited outside. We ordered family style and had delicious pasta with sausage, grilled vegetables, wine and shared a dessert. Adding to the fun was the bachelorette party that was being celebrated at the restaurant. Interesting decorations and a variety of food, that we thought we would have to try another time. Had we had another day in Sardara, we would have definitely gone back for a second meal.

We were recommended to try this restaurant by a local and a taxi driver so off we went. An unassuming exterior but a pleasant interior. We were met by the owner who was also the main waiter for the evening. Our Italian is extremely limited and his English non existent but he made us feel at home. My partner wanted something vegetarian which wasn't on the menu and he happily complied. I let him provide suggestions for my primi and secondi plates and I'm glad I did. A fantastic shrimp pasta and fresh catch of the day were well prepared and displayed. He explained the bread and olive oil which came prior to our dishes. The oil is from his family and was great. Clearly a proud Sard, the owner tried explaining as much as he could. A great meal, very reasonable at 50⬠for 2 including wine, water, coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is provided in Italian with English below each item for people like us who have limited or no Italian.
